My assumption with mckennie was he gave the option for a 3 man midfield… but specifically that we need 3 reliable pivots if our stock formation has two of them, injuries and suspensions leave us starting greenwood. My gut was that roca might find himself on the bench more often than not.
Sometimes I have to make tough decisions. I don't expect everyone to like it. If you live by the sword, you die by the sword My strongest side when all fit. --------------------------Meslier--------------------------- Ayling------------Koch-------Wober-----------Firpo ---------------------Roca-------Adams------------------- Summerville---------McKennie------------Gnonto -----------------------------Rutter-------------------------- Do we take Roca out to make room for McKennie, and have two up front? If so, who do we choose? Bamford or Rodrigo? I would provide plenty of game time to Sinisterra, Harrison, Cooper, Struijk and Greenwood.
Matts correct this is hot news all over the place but depends on Milwall who may refuse. Also looking like the Bogusz deal to LA is being collapsed by his loan club Ibiza who are refusing to let him go. LA are US champions and always wondered why Bogusz was never given a chance after Bielsa let him goout on loan? Still only 21yo
well they signed half of Man City’s academy in the summer and are bottom of the league so I guess we’ll see in May whether it pays off! The guy from genk is 6’7 striker?!?! Maybe they’re working on set pieces!
In the last hour on the YEP Phillips enquiry Leeds have reportedly made a surprise attempt to re-sign Kalvin Phillips from Manchester City. Phillips has struggled for games since moving to City, with Rodri proving too good to drop in that holding midfield role, and according to The Sun’s Phil Thomas, a number of Premier League clubs have enquired about the possibility of landing Phillips on a loan deal this month
He doesnt start for us and I dont think he would sign for Everton. Everyone else have rejected them, I cant see why he would want to go there.
I think with the injury problems and lack of game time he's not a great prospect for the end of the season. I imagine there are a few managers out looking at other players and it's more of an interesting choice. You've just got to look at Newcastle going for Berge to prove it. Yes there's the name but after that there's not much else at this point.
Can only assume Bogusz isn’t good enough. The fact he’s playing second division Spanish football and only wanted by MLS clubs suggests he’s a mile off premier league level.
I saw him on Friday when city beat Arsenal he was the first sub to hug the city scorer. All i have ever seen is him in his warm up gear and hat.
i bet it was a really good hug though - he’s a multi million pound holding midfielder after all taxi for milky
