All the stuff I’ve been reading has said defensive midfielder who has a wicked pass and great vision, box to box someone else was quoted as saying and one report said direct competition for Klich.
Well they don't really want to sell him, but by all accounts he had a set to with Lewandoski or what ever his name is in training, so do you sell probably the worlds best striker, or let your best up and coming player go, with an option to buy back for double the money if he's as good as you think he is.
This buy back thing. I assume it only works if he actually wants to leave and if he wants to leave then he goes back to them unless somebody offers more?
Chelsea had a buy back clause on Lukaku when they sold him to Everton. It was for about 75 million. Basically when scum came in for him for 75 million they had to offer him to Chelsea for that price first. Chelsea didn't want him back so scum got him.
Think Cuisance will be starting before long with Pablo on the bench, but this kid can also replace Klich and Phillips. So from last year without cover for any of them we now have Llorente who can cover RB and CB and DM, Struijk who can do DM and CB and now Cuisance who can cover 3 positions. Bielsa now has plenty of options
In some respects its a sad day because I think the player we all wanted was the finished article and a worldy, Rodrigo De Paul must be sulking today due to greedy owners. In Cuisance Bielsa must be confident that he can step up and perform well enough at this level, otherwise a pointless buy as we need to stay up. So Cuisance is half the price of De Paul but has the potential to be twice as expensive than De Paul. RDP is now dead to us
I think Bielsa has either had a change of plan after three games or he prefers a more versatile midfielder in Cuisance. Maybe he is seeing Rodrigo as the guy who can sit in behind Bamford if required. All things considered Cuisance is my preferred choice and if we get James too it will have been a very special transfer window
