It does make you wonder, I'd say from outside the box crossed in through the air into the penalty area otherwise surely it is a pass? Like you say convert it and it is an assist, miss an open goal and the crosser is an assist down. Phillips against Preston planted two corners onto the head of Bamford who missed both good chances, another striker and it might have been two asists
Let me have a crack at that. possession up by 3%.......We're not playing the free flowing passing football like last season.....some are not finding or running into spaces so we have to hold onto ball more........opponents won't let us get into their box most of time........an extra 1% is Harrison trying to dribble everyone and himself. Chances created up........they're up cos Bamford nor Harrison can shoot straight (triangular feet) if you divided by chances missed the figure would be lower. Shots up by 20.....yep, up by about 10 to 15 feet. 2 of those shots were Bamford targeting the corner flags. Pass accuracy up by 2%......majority of short passes are going to be accurate, the long passes from midfield ain't so accurate. Successful passes 18/19 = 5372. 78% passing accuracy = 22% wild passes. Successful passes 19/20 = 5742. 80% passing accuracy = 20% wild passes........Some will argue, but 20% wild passes in 19/20 is greater than 22% wild passes in 18/19. I believe they call it a pro rata basis. Touches in the opp box up by 80.......You'd think the team were gay......touches in box will always rise if we keep trying to walk ball into net. Crosses up by 32.......yep, while the crosses are up trying to find Bamford all time, God knows why, successful crosses are down by 12. Harrison couldn't cross a road and find the other side, Ayling ain't much better, and Phillips free kicks and corners are amounting to nothing. Crosses 18/19 = 302.....crosses 19/20 = 334............successful crosses 18/19 = 74.....successful crosses 19/20 = 63......tells a story already. 18/19...302 minus 74 = 228..............19/20......334 minus 63 = 281........ that's 228 unsuccessful crosses in 18/19.....and.....281 unsuccessful crosses in 19/20. Goals conceded down.......thanks to most of our defence and Kiko playing much better. Goals scored down by 8.......Harrison and Bamford not scoring, not even in a free brothel. Shots at goal 18/19 = 209, on target 65........209 minus 65 = 144 shots going where they shouldn't be. Shots at goal 19/20 = 229, on target 68.........229 minus 68 = 161 shots going where they shouldn't be, including heading towards corner flag and back row of stands. Shot chances against 18/19 = 89........Shot chances against 19/20 = 82.......thanks to most of our defence. Shots on target faced 18/19 = 50........Shots on target faced 19/20 = 42.......thanks to most of our defence. Tackles won 18/19 = 252.......Tackles won 19/20 = 257.......I believe those 65 extra tackles belong to Kiko. There's a common denominator why we ain't scoring, but pick your own. No stats for midfield possession / dominance? No stats for keeper saves etc? No malice against you Doc, just wanted to show that in football, and any other similar games, where there's pros there's also cons, and the cons can also turn pros into cons.........

Thanks for that Don’t like DC and some may say it’s all about money but in my book they have done the right thing credit where it’s due
So why not sack the two drivers? or were they forced to get into their cars and drive while drunk, Keogh was only a passenger, OK an ugly one, but apart from that wasn't committing any offence.
Mate, as far as Dreary are concerned that is where it will end, a player that they couldn't play, they have sacked, and two player who can play they are keeping and not another word will be said and the example that sets?
