Couldn't care less about the Arsenal game. As long as we don't lose by more than a couple then I'm content enough. The two games we should focus on are the Forest game next Tuesday and Palace the weekend after. That's a possible 6 points we can realistically target. Don't risk anyone vs Arsenal.
Did well at Southampton and by developing what he has, top four finishes and a champions league final with Tottenham (maybe a domestic cup final - not sure if I remember that correctly). So how does his CV compare with Javi and the others we’re interested in?
Not a chance in hell of him coming to LS11 under current setup anyway. He’s only interested in European football and we’re a few seasons from that
I know you’re right but the longer you’re out the harder it is to get back in. Rumours (from decent sources - i.e. his agent leaks to them) is he wanted to go back to Spurs but Levy’s ego doesn’t want to admit he made a mistake three years ago letting him leave. His next preference was apparently Chelsea, but they have nailed their colours to Potter. So we’re big enough to get him and before you whine that he didn’t choose us first, we’re not in that league yet but he is the best out there if no one else takes him on.
