Agree. The fact that Llorente is preferred at right CB over Koch is the main reason I think Koch will leave. Its World Cup year, he isn't playing in the preferred position, he is playing out of position in midfield and looking out of his depth. He won't make the German squad whilst here. He has a resalevalue needed for reinforcing other areas. Throw in the emergence of Cresswell and it makes sense for all parties to part ways. It's nothing personal against him. It's just not worked out.
Another night of frustration and shouting at the telly. Another Sunday league passing performance and it looked like every substitution never worked. I agree on the points made about Koch, he isnt a midfielder and if anything would have started with Struijk next to Phillips. Klich cannot play as a DM and we had no control in the middle all night, so Phillips was underused and bypassed, innefective. Dallas wasnt great at LB but maybe better in the middle at the weekend Ayling struggles against good wingers and Llorente and Cooper were solid and held the line. Ayling struggled getting the ball to Raphinha so he was out of the picture for much of the night, James isnt a striker so why wasnt Joffy starting after Marsch told us for weeks that Joffy would have started if …. Harrison will always go for the shot when other outlets are available and he was useless for most of his shift last night. I am a big fan of Joffy and Greenwood but cannot why Greenwood replaces Rodrigo because Greenwood was just as out of the loop as Rodrigo last night and a bit lightweight. Last season we were passing many teams offthe park, same players this season cant pass wind. Yes a brilliant point, yes 11 from a possible 15 points, yes a clean sheet, yes a battling performance, but the facts are we are a mess based upon last night. Burnley against a team of better players at the weekend, not only battled but did it with some panache, moving the ball at speed, slick accurate passing, not panicking, but doing their jobs. Last night we at times showed we are panicking, flapping, trying too hard and failing. Palace looked like Real Madrid at times because we allowed it. City cannot afford to take their foot off the gas because if they draw Liverpool win the title. City are also 4 or 5 goals worse off than Liverpool so will try and score as many as they can against us
Totally agree, a good old fashioned ref from yester year, let the game run when a lot of refs would have been busy blowing, booking & ultimately sending off, was also good to see him waving play on a lot of the time when Gallagher/Zaha were going down looking for free kicks, the look on their faces, much to say i would have been given that any other time ,Also was able to diffuse one or two tasty confrontations as well. i guess in todays age where players are such valuable assets, the refs tend to wrap them in cotton wool. so i think that was good of you Eire, to give credit where credit was due, because that ref certainly deserved it. Btw who was the ref ?.

Seen that too. I'd be very surprised if he hadn't said it to Klich. My attitude is the old Billy Bremner mantra, "SIDE BEFORE SELF,"
Hopefully Eire. Palace missed a lot of chances and my only worry is that if we give Arse or Chelsea the same chances, we might get punished by the calibre of their players.
He was Eire, which is very rare these days. He'll probably be demoted for letting the game flow and for letting players tackle.
The only negative was Coops getting caught with the ball over the top or was that Dallas. But you're right he really has hit the ground running since his injury.
