By the way. Not enough love for our second goal on Sunday. Brilliant set piece delivery from Jack… and a great header from rod. Loving this set piece improvement in attack and defence.
Strikes me looking at the tables that something sysemic has happened this season Brighton and Leeds are in the top5 whilst MU and Liverpool are in the bottom 5long ,may it persist Another interesting thing is that 18 PERCENT OF AMERICANS now support Leeds and thats before the Chelsea game
Not sure if that is meant to be 10% or 38% L60. The survey conducted by Morning Consult on 11 August 2022 said that out a representative number of 2210 adults from the USA, 10% of those supported Leeds. In addition 405 of those polled, identified as being fans of the Premier League, were asked their opinion on each and every club in the premier league, and those votes that were either "favourable" or "slightly favourable" were counted. Liverpool received 61% favourability ( or 247 votes), Scum received 60% favourability (or 243 votes) We were ranked 12th in the poll and those 405 people in the poll cast a total of nearly 3350 votes when ranking who they considered to be "favourable" or "slightly favourable" Link to original article, which is what the media is reporting on https://morningconsult.com/2022/08/11/liverpool-most-popular-premier-league/ Spoiler: How the Daily Mail Reported the Article (we don't get a mention) Despite being narrowly pipped by their bitter rivals in the US, United can take some consolation in the fact it still has second place nailed down with 60 percent of fans finding it 'favorable' or 'somewhat favorable'. Three other clubs in the league's 'Big Six' - Manchester City (59 percent), Chelsea (57 percent) and then Arsenal (54 percent) - rounded out the top five. However, Tottenham finished up seventh behind Newcastle United with 44 percent of fans saying they have a favorable opinion of Spurs, 10 percent down from north London rivals Arsenal and narrowly beaten by the Magpies with 45 percent. City has dominated the top-flight in recent years, winning four Premier League titles in five years and, along with Chelsea and Arsenal, has sought to bolster their exposure stateside as the trio all embarked on preseason tours of the US this summer. Chelsea was taken over by American businessman and co-owner of the LA Dodgers Todd Boehly earlier this year, which could also improve the west London club's popularity over on the West coast. Brighton and Hove Albion, who was promoted to the English top-flight in 2017, came in as the least popular among Premier League fans with only 28 percent having a favorable opinion of the Seagulls. However, more recently promoted sides gained more favor. Roughly 1 in 3 Premier League fans had a favorable opinion of Fulham, who beat out fellow newcomers Bournemouth and Nottingham Forest.
No not about Bielsa but his team. We can now head the ball and defend corners. Suddenly we also can score from free kicks. So what the hell were the coaches doing at Thorpe arch? sweeping up.
I particularly like aaronson and Harrison lining up to take all the set pieces. Keeping opponents guessing till last seconds as to what direction ball will swing in feom
