I'd keep Byram, Schmidt and Firpo but buy another left back. That gives us defensive cover in Byram on both flanks. Schmidt can play anywhere and Firpo would be handy if we need a goal in the last 20 minutes or so. Sell Wober to help fund a new left back.
I do agree however I’m not thinking starter, I’m just thinking squad. Like we’re making our life harder by having to integrate and sign 2 new left backs rather than keeping one of Firpo/Byram
