Struggling to remember a lot of the loanees. To me, the majority have been inconsistent, poor, or downright crap. Thought I'd pick my best 18 from their Leeds heyday & then throw a team together: 'Keepers - Illian Meslier Defenders - Mickey Gray, Richard Naylor, Ugo Ehiogu, Eric Lichaj, Kyle Bartley, Pontus Jansson Midfield - Jonathan Douglas, Alan Thompson, Fabian Delph, Danny Pugh (controversial?), Michael Tonge, Pablo Hernandez, Jack Harrison Strikers - Dougie Freedman, Max Gradel, P.M. Lasogga, Eddie Nketiah Team ........................... Meslier ..... Lichaj ... Bartley ... Jansson ... Gray ..... Hernandez ... Tongue ... Douglas ... Harrison ..................... Gradel ... Lasogga Thoughts?
Good effort but madness that Ben White doesn't make the squad I'd also throw in Liam Miller (Scum I know) for that winner against Saints in 2005 in that glorious 4-3 victory!
I liked Ben White, but he just didn't perform consistently enough for us imo. The other thing is that I remember Micky Gray being absolutely outstanding almost every game. Same goes for Liam Miller, RIP, imo. Who would you replace with Miller?
Spain 6-0 Germany...Koch didn't play. Southgate wondering how he can defend better than Germany, rather than how he can attack like Spain. Correction Koch did play...obviously anonymous and rather worrying.
Just watched next years Euro champions please log in to view this image Who was Koch marking for Spain's 6th goal? fresh air may I suggest please log in to view this image
I’m from a family of teachers... it was enough to guarantee it was the one career that was never on the agenda. about 5 years ago my best mate chucked in an 80k a year IT network job to become a primary school teacher. Me: ‘but you hate kids! ( he once told an annoying 5 year old that Santa didn’t exist)’ him ‘not as much as I hate IT’ he’s a deputy head now
Just saw the score... my first thought was Koch must have been playing. To be fair sounds like 6 flattered Germany
No chance of winning so keep your money in ones pocket Spain & even Germany would run rings round England They may get through the first group as they are always dealt a easy ride
