Sunderland play some nice stuff. Just don’t have a striker with Stewart crocked… and with both centre halves also out they couldn’t deal with set pieces and struggled with Luton’s physicality. Really young side.. Have a lot of Loan players but mowbray’s done a great job with them. If they can keep the core of the team together I’d fancy them to finish above us next season.
They've just been knocked out of the play offs mate. They can't play PL football next season. please log in to view this image
I’m trying not to think about the irony of us going down an Drameh getting promoted with Luton. Ultimate Leedsy.
I watched a chunk of Luton v Sunderland and I thought both Drameh and Gelhardt were poor. Drameh gave the ball away a shed load of times. Here is what the Northern Echo rated Joffy: 4 Gelhardt: Ended his loan spell with a performance that summed it up – willing and committed, but lacking a cutting edge
Hard to believe that we could possibly playing Luton next season in either the championship or PL, when you think just nine years ago they were playing in the National league, still good on them they must be a brilliantly run club, wish we could say the same
10,200 That's incredible, so i just looked up Bournemouth's Capacity which is 11,400 and they are now beginning to establish themselves, amazing Bournemouth with such a low capacity is surviving in these times, i guess Luton will give it their best shot to, Just shows the value of a well run club.
I remember when we thought we were hard done by getting 15 points deducted, well a week or so later got a 30 point deduction that saw them fall out of the football league. All because of a bent owner the fans were punished. Well done to them for getting this far back… like Leeds it’s been done without parachute payments and remember more than half the clubs in the Championship have had parachute payments
I watched the whole game because of a bet builder I had. Spot on regarding Joffy, I even had him to hit the target once, but he didn't. I'm still not sure regarding Drameh. At times he played quite well. I thought Jack Clarke played well. Good match though for a neutral to watch.
