I now have an MRI booked and follow up appointment with the specialist.

I really don't like criticising the NHS but they got my back up today so I sent an angry but well articulated email. Got results I suppose

Lee Chapman accuses Bamford of being too nice? Well having met Lee Chapman, I'd be surprised if anyone had levelled the same accusation at him.

I had been trying to see a doctor since before Christmas. Trying to get a face to face appointment was near impossible. In the end I paid around £500 to see a private doctor and have an endoscopy.

I’d be petrified if I had any kind of cancer or urgent hospital treatment that was being put on hold.

My opinion is that if you choose a career in a medical profession you know what to expect. It’s like joining the army, you don’t join and then complain if you’re asked to shoot a gun, or choosing a career as a school teacher then complaining they hate kids.

If they are failing you complain mate

Someone on FB pointed out that it is only the media who have said these comments were cryptic towards Bielsa. They suggested it could be over the penalty decision we didn’t get awarded.

I guess we’ll know in the next game when we see if Pablo is on the bench or not.

I was lucky enough to get a referral within a week initially for a spine surgeon. My GP booked it for me there and then and there. When he noticed my shock he explained that there is a smaller waiting time because less people are attending doctors and hospitals for these normal things because of fear of the rona.

As Doc said the real death toll of this pandemic will not be felt for a couple of years.

The ENT consultant I saw said I needed to have a Gastroscopy to see why I am producing so much acid reflux (burning the back of my throat). He suggested if I wasn't insured then he should refer me to the local NHS hospital. He told me exactly the same as your GP told you, he said they will see me ever so quickly. I haven't heard anything for three weeks now, normally that would not bother me in the slightest but the way the consultant spoke it sounded like I was going to be seen within no time. He even suggested I see him again 5 weeks after my initial visit which was three weeks ago. I think I will drop him an email and see if I have been lost in the system

I suffered with that at one time. Typical of the time, I was told it was because I was fat. Funnily enough, it went away & I never lost weight (put it on, more likely!). However, these days, more people, including a surprising number of doctors, are aware of visceral fat, which is basically 'internal fat' that can gather around organs, & possibly strangle the organ(s) with differing effects. Even if you appear skinny on the outside, you can be suffering on the inside, with no clue given until something goes wrong. Easy (?) solution too - a diet.

Hopefully, they'll find out it's something that's easily fixed. :D

I don’t think Bielsa choosing his replacement helps, look at red nose at the scum picking moyes. There isn’t another one like him out there. What we need is to improve the quality in our squad because no disrespect to any of the players, this group gets relegated without Bielsa in charge.
As for Pablo, I said there could be repercussions for him after his tantrum when taken off, (think he didn’t once before near the end of the promotion season only to be calmed down in time). As with Pontus you don’t cross him often and end up staying. Contrast his attitude with Berra who put his future move on the line for the club, rarely complained about being sub as well.

    Champions League
    Barcelona V PSG

    Not taking the Knee :emoticon-0148-yes:

Best ay to beat Barcelona’ High Press demonstrated by the PSG keeper. (Meslier take note) the keeper just has the ball at his feet and sends it 35yds to his own player. No fannying at the back, no panic stations and hoofing it out of play, just calm keeping with great distribution

I saw the pablo comment, he could have been referring
to anything, even his mate Josh Warrington.
Don't the press love a conspiracy theory?

Half time in most EFL games tonight but not the best night for our loanees:
    • Edmondson on the bench again, so much for getting game time. Northampton Town
    • Hosannah still not selected and Stevens sat on the bench again. Not good enough Stevens. Bradford City
    • McCalmont having a good game for Oldham and created a goal
    • Gotts playing just behind the striker for Salford and still a hero to the locals doing well.

Northampton played with two up front. Yesterday they replaced both the front two after 70 minutes and left Ryan on the bench. He did come on with 3-4 minutes on the clock
