I read a thread on another forum, question was roughest pub you've ever been in. I think every reply came back as one in the 70's/80'sor 90's, in our area there are definitely less no go pubs than there were back then. A big difference now obviously is the amount of knife crime, also my pet hate now is the pack mentality, back in the day it was one on one or a group punch up, now it's as they don't want to know unless it's 4 to 1 and the kicking folk to a pulp when they're down is sickening and happens far too often, a charge and a few long term jail sentences for attempted murder would get a message over. Football is generally much safer now than back in those days too, of course it still goes on but you see a lot square up, a few air kicks and that's it, both sides waiting for the police to arrive and break it up. As with all things if 10 things happen, 9 are great and 1 is bad, it is the one thing that will get the headlines, people seem to thrive on bad news. By us a few months ago a couple of girls mugged an old lady for her handbag, rightly it made the local rags and outrage from all, a few weeks later an old fella collapsed, a 17 year old lad tended him and put him in the recovery position whilst one of his 2 mates called foe an ambulance, the crew said as it was dark and getting cold, they very likely saved his life, not a peep in the papers or elsewhere, I only knew about it because I know a copper that was in attendance, hate the fact all teenagers are tarred with the same brush
Guess who pays for the clean up? 20 percent of the ticket should go into a kitty to pay for extra policing, and the clean up effort after. 1000's should have been fined for public order offences let alone the more serious ones of violence or theft.
They need to start fining those responsible and that includes the outlets where it is brought. Take McDonalds… how hard would it be to print the cars number plate on the bag when going through the drive through? They’d think twice about not disposing of it properly if it could be traced back. A pet hate of mine is smokers thinking it’s okay to throw the butts on the floor or throw them out the window of a car. That’s been going on years
If you want to have loads if tests and procedures and hoops to jump through before being allowed into a venue, then you are going to have a massive que which in turn means crap thrown on the floors instead of in the empty bins inside the venue. Lack of planning and a lack of competence at Wembley, the FA and PHE
According to BBC Newsnight there were five UK accounts that sent abuse to Rashford,Saka and Sancho out of 33 million viewers that's not too bad in my eyes. It has also come to light that the Rashford mural was not graffiti'd racially, just plain and simple graffiti with the horrifying words of '****' and 'bastard' with 'Saka' as well, the other piece of vile daubed that makes me sick to the stomach was a image of a penis spunking at Rashford's mouth In short they didn't receive half as much abuse as Chris Waddle, Stuart Pearce or their Manager Big nosed Southgate from previous campaigns, to me that's equality. Why are the MSN and social media lying and trying to make out racism is going to spill out onto the streets anytime now?
Agree, but you'll never get the extra policing. These days, the cops put out the minimum they are required to. They want big money for any more, hence we have the 'rise of the stewards'. Can you remember stewards in the 70s/80s? I can't. But it's not even that simple. Stewards generally do not get involved in violence, no matter the order of magnitude - they call in a specialist team. At ER, they wear blue hi-viz, but can't remember their name. EDIT: Just occurred to me that Shaks might hold the answer to the blue-vested ones. As regards modern day policing, they appear to be hugely understaffed to cover situations like the Euro final. Personally, I think it's deliberate. It's an opportunity to politic & pretend you're under-resourced. But more importantly, they'd rather use the tsunami of CCTV cameras that have grown exponentially over the years. So much easier (& safer) to sit on your fat arse watching footage to identify troublemakers & arrest them later. Gives them a chance to kick down doors & licenses 20ish of them wreck your house (or search, as they call it). Lots of fun for them, but they'll never acknowledge that the process is fundamentally flawed, as they allow crime to take place when they have the opportunity to prevent it. Sir Robert Peel set up the police to prevent crime, not solve it. Nowadays the cops are happy to let you get your head kicked in & arrest later. Shocking.
Seems like another estate agent is in trouble for some of the online bollox what is it with these ****ers ****in white collar yobs
It's not quite that but out of 105 accounts sampled 5 were identified from the UK, 59 were outside UK, 9 no longer active, 32 were unaccounted for. The interesting point is the 59 abroad, over 10x as many as identifiable UK accounts. Those could be expats but the conspiracy theorist in me knows for instance that in the Yasenevo district in Moscow there's a whole warehouse of people who dutifully trudge in everyday, logging in to their multiple social media accounts with their brief for the day as to what they should be posting. Their masters goal is to sow disharmony and to promote subversion within western economies. I suspect that there may well be other such places in Peking, Tehran, Pyongyang and a whole host of other such delightful places.
Simply using a VPN can allow you to place yourself anywhere in the world. I'd take those figures with a pinch of salt.
VPN's were calculated in the algorithms as those unaccounted and those from abroad were from identifiable sources.
Much of it. But if you're Boris in Yasenevo you wouldn't post as Boris in Yasenevo you'd post as Mohammed in Islamabad, or Faisal in Cairo. You get a 2/1 return on your subversive tweet then, initially discrediting supposed England fans and when the stats are out creating more division by setting up other racial groups. They want us fighting each other and the scale of bots on social media feeding a narrative is enormous
I heard there was one pinpointed to a house in Dun Laoghaire, not far from a offy Shako, **** knows who it could be
