Well we signed a keeper today but young Daryl Ombang has just joined us from BCFC and at only 16yo is destined to be a massive player in the future and will go straight into the U18s but dont be surprised to see him n the U23s……. Oh and by the way hes a Leeds Utd player so never even thought about his skin colour

37 got arrested at Wembley. When you think about the anti social behavior, littering, drunken behavior including public order offences, the numbers ran into thousands, possibly tens of thousands.

Look at the picture of the article I copied, they are all between 15.30 ish.

Meslier is our number one and needs to stay that way. I feel totally comfortable with him in goal and although I didn't with Casilla for a long time, when nothing depended on those last few games I was ok with him.

I’m happy for Kiko to be replaced but….

If we’re still paying his wages I don’t understand why we’re trying to sign another young keeper with very little experience.

You see this is where I struggle. I can’t claim to be non racist anymore than a black kid wanting to stab me just because I’m white (I don’t want to stab anyone). I do see differences and my senses tell me to be aware and I don’t totally know why but I also know I hate the simple prejudice against colour that this weekend has shown yet again.

I am trying to bring up two young boys and teach them love, peace, respect, Leeds United is everything (not in that order btw), beer is good and, if you ever get any good at the guitar, help the old man, he is rubbish!!

Is it the country Wakey? You see I just don’t know, or is it just life? Are those punks on Sunday night breaking into the stadium any worse than the boys in yours and Wiggy’s era or even the 70’s or 80’s?

Getting soft in my old age and I’m ok with that. For reasons I won’t go into on here we were playing songs from our life today and I’m comfortable with Labri Siffre “something Inside So Strong” representing the inner me :emoticon-0148-yes:

Firstly, most importantly, I hope you and the family are okay mate <ok>

My opinion… Certain things have got worse but then other things have got better and some no different. In regards to “ worse” it’s really opinion. I don’t get gender neutral or the “woke brigade” but they’d say “improvement” as it’s being recognised more. In today’s modern times we just get to see and hear about it quicker. The internet, social media and mobile phones that record it all as it happens.

This picture is from the 1966 World Cup. In regards to litter were we really better back then? Loutish behaviour, nobody needs me to dig out football hooligan images from the 60s 70s or 80s I’d argue and agree with you it’s definitely no worse now and actually in my opinion we’re 100 times improved when it comes to hooligans.

Racism and prejudice is still with us but it’s definitely better than it was in the 70s and 80s. The huge difference is social media and technology that enables people to deliver it direct to the victim and the rest of us to witness it.

Take the penalty misses, those racist comments on social media wouldn’t have been possible in the 90s. Those responsible would have uttered the words, shouted them at the TV or said them to their mates but none of us would have heard. It isn’t worse now, it’s simply technology making us more aware.

Looks like we are going to improve our U18s this season as Scholar contracts handed out. Last season we finished 13th in 14 team league. Understandable really as there were so many kids trying to play with some playing for the 23s, so kids playing from the 16s etc. Now seems we are rectifying that and bringing in some specialists who all have a great future. Ombang from BCFC played for their 18s when he was 14yo and now an England regular. Cline from Liverpool, Thomas from Man City even a player from Man Utd.

Man with binoculars: “Don’t worry about the litter, I’m looking at London 2021 and you should see the state of the place <doh> ffs”

I’m not condoning it mate but…. 1966 they’re all sitting outside their cars, many took the refreshments with them, they could have taken every bit of litter home with them in those cars assuming there were no bins outside the tents.

The age group in 66 too, older generation, those able to afford cars, those who you would have assumed should know better.

London no forward thinking, why were there not bins or even a skip for the rubbish to be put into? It stands to reason, supply that crowd with refreshments and they’re not taking half a dozen empty cans home in their pockets

With Khan the inept Mayor of London anything goes. As he does zilch about knife crime, he's hardly likely to supply extra bins. Anyway they've now voted him in twice - they get what they deserve.

A lot of the older generation used to take litter home with them(my ma being one) the photo shows people sat there with rubbish all around who knows whether some was removed by them later? Safe to say the latest photo shows the aftermath of the match plenty of **** dropped no people in photo, from my experience I spent my last 2 years of work at a local shopping centre picking up rubbish with my little litter picker and can assure you that regardless of plenty of bins available my little picker was on "overtime" mostly outside the numerous take aways/ cafes frequented by "students"

I agree with most of what you say there Ristac, but the scum msm we have don't help the situation why don't they print the truth that the majority of England fans were well behaved and didn't cause trouble, we don't know who posted the abuse on social media, apparently there was 120 comments, many coming from abroad, the left want free speech banned on social media and anyone disagreeing with those divisive scum are called haters, you watch more people getting banned from platforms when they get their own way
We live in unprecedented times, and there is a lot of anger out there at the control the government are inflicting on us, and the scenes of fans trying to smash their way into Wembley is testament to that, believe me, this is gonna get a lot worse when lockdowns start again and more freedoms are taken away.

Not just football fans though is it, look at the kids who go to music festivals, they even leave their tents. Everything today is cheap and disposable so just chucked anywhere and drinks are heavy and the containers they come in are cumbersome, so when empty nobody is going to carry a bag just for cans and empties.

By the way London is a skip
