The FA are to investigate Sergi Canos's headbutt on Alioski at the weekend. Being that it was so blatant, I don't think there was any way they couldn't.

If it had happened on the pitch, it would have been a straight red card so you'd expect the Brentford winger to get at least a three game ban.
Thoughts?




Both Jansson and Cooper have been nominated for Septembers PFA fans player of the month!

Lille chairman Gérard López was the guest on RMC Sport’s show ‘Footissime’ on Monday, and he revealed he was forced to part ways with Bielsa after he lost the dressing room at the Stade Pierre-Mauroy.

“It’s not very fair to the coach because there are dressing rooms that are behind the coach, even in the worst situations, while others that do not back their coach, even in regular situations,”

“With very intense coaches like Bielsa, at a certain moment, there is a break and we must always choose the team, the institution, rather than the person.”

 

Lille chose their coach but didnt want him to change the players and Bielsa wasnt having it. Bielsa told the club he wanted to release 11 players who he thought would hold the club back and it seems the club sided with the players so by November there was a war. He started in May 2017 and was gone by December 2017. Difference is that he told Orta he wanted rid of 15 players and the club backed him. The club are rebuilding TA and builders are in and putting up new building as we speak and all because Bielsa said it was best for the club, so the frog can gettifuck

Pontus has been immense since being called back to replace Berardi, but lets hope he comes back from Sweden with the same mentality he left with. Billybigbollox after the World Cup wont wash with Bielsa and it seems being frozen out has worked wonders. Good luck to Pontus and his wife and a safe delivery of their new daughter

Sergi Canos's headbutt on Alioski,no doubt about it,that will be a straight three match ban (can't be any other punishment) for incidents like these.
As for Bielsa he is capable of turning ordinary players into great players,with the players own co operation & determination to give a lot of hard work and make themselves a better player,it seems most of our players have baught into this philosophy.
But this is by no means the norm,some teams/players will resent any extra grafting & pain and will not see the bigger picture on what he is trying to do, or are to lazy,i wouldn't be surprised if this is what it was like at the Stade Pierre-Mauroy.

So we now know Beilsa wants 3 more players who would you want?

It’s been rumoured that Orta has been instructed to find a suitable CF a left winger and a CB

I can’t see it myself, Roberts is an okay 3rd choice, CB is the only area I could imagine it being true

 

It's what we were all screaming for at the start of the season maybe it's a rehashed rumour

 

So we don't know for sure then

Bielsa has gained so much respect from his players which is the reason why he won't lose the dressing-room

Totally agree....I don't think there are many better cb's in the Prem either...

 

According to Phil Hay Aapo Halme will be the CB soon so cant see a new CBbcoming in as he already wants Berrardi in that role.

New CF is a possibilty and I mentioned Prijavic story yesterday.

The one transfer we do need is a back up for Phillips as Bielsa sees Forshaw and Klich further forward covering one role.
