This is for Marcos or anyone who knows him! You are one of the most sensible and one of the most exceptional posters on this board. Your views and thoughts are actually vey constructive and have loads of common sense. So struggling to understand why we are not on the same page
I too am very sorry to see that Marcos will no longer contribute.I cannot understand what is happening. I thought this was a forum to exchange views about football. Say what you think it doesn't matter if you disagree that's what its for. I'm sorry but I seem to have missed the politics.
I too am sorry Marcos has left, I liked his posts, always well thought out and never over opinionated. I've read through the thread and can't work out the post that pissed him off so much. Don't know him and never met him but seems a very good bloke, pm me once to offer tickets for a game but I couldn't do it mid week and still spend my time running around after youngish children (yes I went for it late in life before some sarky bastard mentions it). Hope he comes back to post if he is reading off line (if the power of darkness Ell has let him log out of course).
Come back Marcos. That's from someone with no agenda other than to enjoy the forums and I enjoyed our chats. Don't know you pal. In fact I don't know anyone on here and perhaps so much the better. Makes it easier to ignore some of the **** that tends to fly around. Have a re-think and post again.
I sometimes get that feeling pal, but I'm quite happy. If I start answering myself. that's when I'll get worried. At at least I'm not a multiple poster talking myself on here for effect.
Yes fella, you're right. I missed out the little word "to" in that last sentence of mine like you missed out the "r" on the end of you - but then who's counting eh? Wasn't referring to anyone in particular in my previous post - why get so defensive? For my sins, I do try to talk sense among the varied posts on here, but if it doesn't come across to you, don't worry pal. Enjoy the forum and please don't leave........
Me leave, no chance, skin thicker than a rhinos me. Anyway what else would I do on these dark winter days but to see who is throwing abuse, sorry banter at all and sundry.
That's the spirit, and whilst we're on the subject, just had half a glass of Dalwhinnie Winters Gold - just about to make it a full glass. I'll take the abuse (sometimes thinly disguised as banter or is that banter thinly disguised as abuse) for what it's worth. A username that appears on the screen of my laptop - no big deal in the real world. Just enjoy it.
Agreed - he was often quite entertaining if somewhat crusty. From my limited knowledge of him as a poster (and none at all personally) he was usually in the thick of things. Tended to like to give it out more than receive it. So what - it's only a bloody football chat forum.
Like I said Chesh, abuse (banter) doesn't bother me as long as the abuser doesn't mind it back. I've shagged too many sheep to worry about niceties.
