Actually, it's no joke. I'm dead serious. The biggest improvement has been in the team. I've mentioned this exchange many times on here & will continue to do so whenever appropriate: Big Jack: "Why do you pick me for the team when I'm not the best centre half in the country"? Sir Alf: "Because I pick the best team, Jack, not the best players". We've had a complete shift in attitude towards the team ethic. It's all positive & is being really effective to date.
Not sure a release clause means a whole lot anyway. If a player wants to go, they usually manage to engineer a move, a coach will be no different Id imagine
