    Good Morning Everyone

Leeds have been fined £200,000 for their part in Spygate.

According to Phil Hay, he believes Leeds negotiated this figure with the EFL in order to stop proceedings going any further!

He said that it “prevents an independent panel getting involved”.

What do we think of the punishment?

    Lax, fair or excessive?

All I'll say is that Fifa fined Russia £22,000 for racist chanting against France last year!

Leeds fan Jack Platt has started up a 'go fund me' page to help pay toward the £200,000 fine!

Roofe may be out until the end of the season, but what an opportunity it is for Roberts, Brown and Bamford!

Its fair to say that Roofe's goals have all but dried up since Christmas, in fact the ex Oxford Utd player has scored 1 in 8 appearances.

Could this be a blessing in disguise?

I have just sent this back to the EFL

Have you heard of the term kangaroo court? This definition might help :

    Kangaroo court

A kangaroo court is a court that ignores recognized standards of law or justice, and often carries little or no official standing in the territory within which it resides.[1] The term may also apply to a court held by a legitimate judicial authority who intentionally disregards the court's legal or ethical obligations

    Morning all..

Spygate - I think if we were mid table and nothing to play for it would be different. I’ve never signed up to the EFL are against, that was until this season got under way.

In a fair system we have been treated harsh but all things considered I’d take that as it could have been a points deduction and fight it through the courts or not, it would have been a lengthy and very unpleasant distraction.

If Bamford remains fit we need not worry about missing Roofe too much, I don’t see how we can accommodate both in the same starting 11 not effectively anyway.

It could be a boost we are in need of, Bamford up front, Izzy at number 10, I don’t see much alternative to that, I do expect Roberts to start at 10 but surely Izzy will make an appearance at the weekend

    Morning all

Roofe being injured is never going to be a blessing, he has been and will be important for us. If Brown, Bamford and Roberts are fit then we are probably covered but losing our leading goal scorer, even in a blip, isn't good as it cuts down on options.

It would be fantastic if Leeds fans could raise the fine and just leave it on the EFL doorstep in 5p coins or whatever the smallest coins are in the UK now.

As for the fine and EFL/FA decision. I don't like it and could think of several actions to take to get back at the Authorities and other clubs but in the next few weeks it would be distracting and focus should be given to winning another 10 or 11 games.

I'm not sure if there is a "statute of limitations" on taking action but I suspect it is irrelevant anyway as it is likely we have signed an agreement to not do any of the things that are possible. As Far as Fat Frank is concerned he lied and slandered people and organisations and this is a civil matter perhaps, but again to do anything now would be distracting.

Morning all. The club negotiated that fine to stop people banging on about spygate so that exactly what Im gonna do. Couldnt care less once we werent docked points. Rad is a billionaire apparently so not going to miss 200k. Would be like most of us being fined ten quid or 2k in Matts case. The Bolton game is the only thing that matters at this point in time. 3 points, nothing less and no excuses

Sorry Old Boy I have to disagree with you on the fair system bit.
In my opinion the conclusion to this case was nothing short of blackmail (which I thought was illegal anyway)
Pay us 200k or we will slap a points deduction on the club.
The amount of the fine is way beyond any yardstick you may wish to apply and bears no resemblance to the charge.
In the whole scheme of things maybe 200k is not that much money but I do think there is a matter of principle involved.
However the club have accepted it so we move on.
Just goes to prove how corrupt football is. <grr><grr><grr><grr><grr><grr>

I wasn't saying it was fair mate <ok>

I was attempting to say: In a fair system (but we all know the EFL don't know the meaning of fair) we have been treated harsh but as we know it is not a fair system and considering what they 'could' have unfairly done I'll take it.

I agree it stinks, there should have been zero punishment but sitting in a good position and with the team not needing unwanted distractions I'll take it

Great first half in the big match of the night...QPR putting up a decent showing.

Apparently there are some cheating german b***ards playing another club who I despise. Problem with that match is I don't know who I want to lose the most so can't win either way.

Nah f**K it..the german b*****ds win...so hope they get stuffed.
