Honestly it probably is down to **** journalism but last season he put himself in the window for all to see.I wouldn't be surprised if Scum do go for him as I think OGS is trying to recreate what Fergie did during his 20 odd years in Manchester. We know White isn't the best defender in the league but he's got a damn lot of potential to be the next Ferdinand or Adams. It's evident over the last few seasons that Jose and Van Gaal didn't spend money on players who wanted to play for the Scum they came for the money.
Liverpool are offering Rhian Brewster out on loan to Premier League sides. Would anyone take him as our striker for the next year meaning we could build a really strong defence/midfield and then spend more on a striker of our own next year? I'd prefer someone with more experience, striker loans never work for us anyway, but if it comes off it could be a stroke of genius for whichever club takes him.
Yes, it's an anomaly that White has never played for them, Leeds have made him the player he is and Brighton are going to coin it in.
Yes. I'd take Brewster for a year if we couldn't get who we wanted. I reckon a few clubs might sell in January if fans can't get back in the stadium.
I don't think Brewster want's to be stuck in the same situation that Eddie got stuck in last year. I wouldn't be surprised if a lot of younger strikers was looking at that situation and considering other options
Kinnear on Augustin “Unfortunately, we thought we could have been just the right opportunity for Jean-Kevin Augustin at the right time. “Unfortunately, it just didn’t work out, it didn’t fit with what Marcelo wanted in training, I don’t think Jean-Kevin could step up to the level we wanted him to. “So, he’s moved back to RB Leipzig and he’s not a player who’s going to feature for Leeds United anymore.” Asked where that left Leeds in relation to the £18m obligation to buy, Kinnear said, “Our position is very clear, we want Jean-Kevin to be successful, but it’s not going to be at Leeds United and we’re very clear on that.
Good Afternoon from a cold damp Bardsey I think we have spent enough time on White and should now look to much cheaper versions Koch seems to fit the bill at 9m Cabal at 14m and now Joe Bryan at 7m If we can get Bats for 15m plus and agreed reduction in wages he would be my choice Benrama blows hot and cod for me
Just read we have a twenty thousand waiting list for season tickets going to be some ticket fun if we ever get people back in the ground.
But that's just the waiting list to get one, will the club be increasing the total number of season ticket holders ? I think there's a maximum so that a proportion of tickets can also be bought on a match by match basis by the 4 million gold members.
We're going to become another tourist club. Instead of increasing capacity to 50,000 decrease it to 25,000 I say.
With reduced crowds there will be no away fans so maybe season tickets only. Wonder how many we can get in without sitting on top of each other?
Yeah season tickets only to start with and I don't think all the current season ticket holders will even fit in depending on what the rules on numbers are. Can't see my gold membership being much use to me this season
I wonder if we'll see some teams enquire about sharing stadia to fit in more fans. I believe Darlington have already asked about moving back to the 25,000 Darlington Arena for a season. Harrogate will be playing at Doncaster but that's because they don't meet EFL regulations yet. If capacity is limited to say, 25%, could Rotherham Survive on crowds under 3,000 or would they be better off with 8,000 paying fans at Hillsbrough or 6,000 at Barnsley. That might not make financial sense for them but it might be an option for others.
S O he was paid snd trained by leeds and brighton make a killing. Now that's how to make money and they have bought another for under a million. We will look stupid paying all that money for him. Up to White now to engineer a move to gain his riches but i hope not with us.
