Tyler Roberts has no choice now but step up to the plate and use his pace and power to show what he can do. He has more power than Roofe but needs to use it now. Clarke and Edmondson are young but very mobile and strong plus both score goals for fun in the U23s. Positive spin: some great players have gone into International teams at 16 and a bit older. Rooney and Milner both 16 year olds and scoring and Milner still holds the record for youngest starter and scorer, so our kids need to impress, or we need to look at free agents
Good afternoon Matt & all So we are now reliant on Roofe staying free from injury & retaining his form Roberts hasn't impressed me from what I've seen so far although he has suffered two injuries since joining Leeds & hasn't had a full pre-season so probably needs time Edmondson & Dalby are fine young prospects but are they ready for the rigours of the Championship yet? We are playing a dangerous game relying on limited strikers & CB's which could come back to haunt us as the season draws on Only positive is we have scored eight goals from our midfielders & two from defenders out of the fourteen goals scored so far
The writing was on the wall Wakey, was there for all to see! We've already dropped points at Swansea having to play without a unrecognised CB imo! One fit recognised striker does not fill me with confidence
So we could go into the Millwall game without Berardi, Pablo, Forshaw, Bamford, Brown in the match day squad & we are only in September, fortunately we have Pontus back to step in for Berardi
Its normal to have five or six injured at any one time, happens to every team. Important to have adequate cover which I dont think we have. Bielsa does but he has no experience of the rigours of the championship. I hope our lack of investment doesnt bugger up the second half of the season as usual
Looks like panic stations on here this afternoon and people need to chill. Bielsa had the chance to sign strikers and CBs but was happy with what he got and refused anymore after Bamford. Yes Bamford is a blow but lets remember that both Saiz and Alioski have both played as strikers for former clubs. We also have Roberts who might just do the business especially after playing a couple of games for the Welsh team, he should be confident now hes a full International. Edmondson, Clarke and Dalby for me before we lump on with Jerry again. I repeat Bielsa knows more about footy than me and I think he does know more about the Championship than any of us, you may see the fabled 3-3-1-3

If Bielsa knows more about everybody and can do no wrong, what’s the point in anyone posting anything anymore? He’s human and mistakes like all of us. Hopefully lack of strengthening in the striker department isn’t one. And who’s to say he didn’t want one but rad wouldn’t stump up the cash just like he sold Viera against Bielsas advice
