No Milky however several of our supporters club members have met him as our branch sponsor Kalvin, heard some lovely comments about him as a person.

One of our members on the other forum knows Kalvin & his family

Just wondered. I’ve heard similar things. Glad he’s getting the respect and remuneration he deserves now.

I'm not going to get too misty eyed over his loyalty just because he's a supporter or from the City. Money talks and he can have the nicest family etc etc but money/agents is now the loyalty currency. Matt Le Tissier was loyal(ok not Leeds). Paul Madeley Beeston lad, loyal. Not so long ago supporters were willing for Philips to be sold rather than Viera. He's got a rise thanks to Bielsa. But if you're loyal why have a get out of jail card. <ok>

You might be right but I think that since he cited MH issues, whether true or an attempt of defence, I think the FA will be in a nigh on impossible position H&S wise if he harms himself during the and Leeds were prevented from putting some welfare measures in place.

Because he'll not want to play championship football forever and if we don't go up depending on the 'get out clause' it might ensure we get at least 25-30 million for him if he wants to go? I say might because I don't know the figure the agent and club agreed upon.

You would sell us out to shamrock rovers in a flash if they offered you Newcastle Brown at 5p a bottle for life.

That's not loyalty in the true sense of the word though. It's like you saying to your missus "Look, you know I'll always be loyal to you but if you don't look like Emma Jones by May I'm off."

Yeah, but no disrespect Shaks, loyalty is a bullshit one-way street where fans are concerned. Did you want the club to be 'loyal' to Anita, Cibricki, Ekuban, Sackho etc. and have Radz & Orta honour their contracts? Do the fans that abuse the players they don't like think that's being 'loyal'. Let's face it, we only demand it from players we think are good.

Was fortunate enough to meet Emma last season, backstage as it were.

It's never a good look drowning in your own drool.

Oh dear, could she not control herself?

A gentleman like your good self should have offered her a handkerchief to tidy herself up! You must be used to this effect by now, surely?

Personally, I carry a pack of 12 handkerchiefs for situations like this. I tell them I'm unavailable, but still they slaver. <whistle>
