It's all happening on the Newcastle board.

Good luck to them I say, have had many a great night out in Newcastle...whereas Manchester is just a fecking dump.

Firpo, excellent signing ... the lad is committed, he's worked his heart out to get into the team ahead of schedule ... can't remember when last opposing RBs have gotten past him to put crosses in from the byeline ... in fact, very little crosses coming in from his side, because he defends well and his attacking threat scares teams

Fulham, with pace down their right, couldn't get a cross in all game, and their wide man couldn't get a run at Cresswell ... Firpo helped the kid to settle by keeping pressure away from him

Sham, who love crosses in to Antonio and their midfield runners couldn't get balls in down his side, and Coufal, their RB struggled to join attacks as usual ... and don't give me the Bowen o.g. because Firpo was exactly where he should have been, tracking his runner

Sarr was in the Prem Player of the Month nominations, a powerful, lightning quick runner, but Firpo dominated him giving Watford no outlet down their strongest flank ... this meant they were forced to play more passes under pressure into areas of the pitch where Leeds could pick them off easier, making them look a lot worse than they are

Leeds will be fine, there's a lot worse than us for sure ... Toon, even if they get a £500m transfer kitty won't amount to much, because very few quality players will want to sign for that lot ... expect Toon to end up with five Saudi internationals in their team anyway

I think you might be surprised, Bruce will be out and from what I am hearing they are going to throw a lot of money into this

You might think differently when the Toon come in with a £100 million bid for Kalvin ?

That's because he is always out of position and he isn't actually there for them to get past ;)

Yeh but we're not challenging Top 6 in the PL so it's just not good enough.

Any Leeds fan who doesn't recognise Bielsa as a genius should be banned...from this board, from ER, from everywhere.

as I've said before, it's not easy coming on for 10 mins here and 15 mins there ... if Roberts gets a run of 5 starts in a row, you'll see a really good player ... his decision-making will improve with a run of games

I think so too. I'd have liked to see him go out on loan this year and get a good 40 games experience. He's not learning much getting 10 and 20 minutes here and there. Shackleton is in the same predicament. They need games to improve at that age.

to be fair Roberts got plenty of full halves last year, some guys take a while to show their training form in matches… some talented guys never make the step. He has the footballing ability it’s whether he has it between the ears… and whether MB has the patience to find out.
