You laugh but I actually think Roberts knows the system and does the defensive work better than Rodrigo right now.

We could have beaten burnley and everton with one more goal. We don't need a defender we need clinical finishing. Before anyone says we can't afford to buy a mid with that ability i give you rodrigo as an example of finding the noney.

I get what you mean but just think we look very fragile with Rodrigo playing in midfield.

Maybe if we tell him he's a defender he might start scoring.:emoticon-0105-wink:

Personally I'd prefer it if players didn't do the clenched fist salute. The sole reason being that it would take away the reason that people like you have for not getting fully behind the anti racism message.

However, I'm not black and so I've no idea how it feels to be black, or any skin colour different to the majority in the country I was born in. The best I can do is to try to imagine what it would be like.

My initial thoughts are that it would be extremely annoying to be judged first and foremost by my skin colour. I'm an individual and to be categorised immediately as a person of colour rather than just a fellow human being would seem unjust. If I then also experienced prejudice towards me and my family I'd probably want to protest in some way and campaign for change. That protest might take the form of a clenched fist salute as a form of solidarity with all people of colour against prejudice, racism and all forms of discrimination.

Maybe that's how I'd feel, or maybe not...I'd certainly feel I was justified in protesting in my own chosen way.

    Each to his own
I objected agains the clench fist salutes on our team shirts for the very same reason because to me it is a sign of aggression
I am not racist by the way, far from it but of course you can think whatever you want
