    Kids being released
    1. Gibbon
    2. Haughland
    3. Turner
    4. Amissah
    5. Chikukwa
    6. Fewster
    7. Kechesa
    8. Leverett
    9. Pilkington
    10. Rigby
    11. Skerry
Some of these kids were supposed to be the dogz but seem to have gone backwards, and Cooper Skerry is a surprise as I thought he would be brilliant and Niklas Haughland also a surprise as big plans when we brought him in from Norway.

Youth deals for Alfie Hughes, Owen Barry and Taylor Reagan

expecting some players to come in and replace many of these kids who were part of the U18 set up

I don't recognise a lot of these names. I'm presuming they're mostly u16 & u18, as I don't see many (if any) u23s. Which is a puzzler, actually. I'd normally expect the average age of the leavers to be higher. So unless a load are being promoted to the 1st team squad or being loaned out, we have a bit of a blockage stopping the youngsters progressing up the greasy pole to the u23s. Unless we're selling to create gaps?

I too am shocked by Skerry being released, but I guess I've not seen him play for over a year. Perhaps that mouth & attitude I loved was a bit too OTT for the club?

I looked at the U18 squad a few weeks ago and discovered there were over 30 of them, with half a dozen embedded into the 23s. It would seem to be a plan to have the U16s, 17s and 18s work better and smarter. Last season we used the 18s in the EFL Cup which didnt work and also used them in the FA youth cup which fell apart in the semi’s. Some key players were missing because of being used in the 23s, players like Max Dean who scored goals in the EFL Cup but was missing for the 18s. Consolidation looks to be on the cards and having the new 3 top kids from Man Utd and Liverpool will bolster them and the 3 kids today having contracts extended will also help.

i think we have still got to see what happens with our loaned out players and how many new kids are brought in to the 23s to replace some we release or loan out?

Jammy never liked him tbf after seeing him put his feet on a chair in the old Directors box during a game when he was injured. I mean, what sort of peasant ever puts his feet on a chair?

Remembering the crap times under Bates and how he was silent except for his weekly programme notes, or using Phil Hay at the YEP to get his propaganda out.

Well how times have changed as we now get plenty of interviews and especially podcasts with the likes of Radz, Kinnear, Marathe and even the new Aussie Director and this week on the Phil Hay show we get to listen to Victor Orta. This Board do not hide from the fans

Looks like Alioski might be staying he’s been offered an improved contract. No pre-contract has been signed with another team
