According to Phil Hay this morning club don’t know how long Bambi will be out for. Where have we heard that before
Morning all You don't change a winning team. Copper has to earn his way back in to the starting 11. According to what I've heard Pulisic's value won't be that high. He's not got long left on his contact and supposedly his stock has dropped since he joined Chelsea however I think Adam's is a more realistic option.
It’s a pity we can’t get a handle on the exact extent of Bambis prospects going forward. If he’s not going to be fully fully fit shortly then he needs replacing before window closes. I’m still not convinced Gelhardt will be any better than he currently is. Great impact striker for twenty minutes but hasn’t shown much more yet
Gelhardt needs to go out on loan and we need to sign a striker with experience. I did not see last nights game but have heard non of our younger players stood out. Anybody see the game? How did drameh perform.
Drameh looked decent, not particularly any better or worse than Kristensen or Ayling i'd say. I thought Summerville looked very good, I just wonder if he'll get the minutes he needs if everyone stays fit. Gelhardt, Greenwood and Hjelde were all a bit.... meh. Gelhardt can really worry defenders with his tenacity. He was great in the build up to Klich's last goal and did enough to get Koulibaly sent off at the weekend. He just needs to develop other areas of his game.
We don't need any more playmaker types. Aaronson, Rodrigo (on current form), Harrison, James, Sinisterra, Summerville and Klich can all play there. We are short at left back. In an ideal world a striker but looks like the penny has dropped with Rodrigo for now. Finally, Summerville WILL make the grade. He's a fantastic little player. He will be better than James.
As much as I agree we are short of a left back Sturrik has done a great job and adds some height. He may not be a natural wing back but he can defend. I hope Firpo doesn't just walk back in the team and I honestly don't think he will
I don't think he will and he might be out in January. Pascal is doing really at LB so it's a no brainer to keep him there. It also looks like we'll be getting Wagner in January. He wants to join but from what I can gather Philadelphia want to keep him till the end of their season in December.
Afternoon all Nobody deserves to be dropped from the team unless injured. Cooper and anyone else returning need to wait their turn
TBH going forward I would go play it by ear with Bamford, Cooper and Forshaw. We can't keep them if they're going to stay injured all season. I get Forshaw is fit now but for how long. IMO their ages are playing against them Cooper and Forshaw are 30 plus we can get younger and as talented else were.
