No easy games in the championship but if we are fighting for promotion towards the end of the season that run in is awful, from Watford onwards.
While I understand where you are coming from at this point I am not worried about any fixture, month or run of fixtures. The championship is an incredibly difficult division to predict. Every year teams that should walk out struggle, teams that should be cannon fodder do well and the rest can be anything in between. This form can also change halfway through as well. At this point, before a ball has been kicked, there is no point focusing on one game or run because by August or next may they will mean nothing. The only fixtures I take notice of are first, Xmas, my birthday and last.
I too have a look at the first and last always hoping for a home game and then I took look at the ones around Christmas finally how many home games in the last 5-6 games
Galway whites doing minimum ten games this season. My first one is Watford end of September. Grandson travelling for first time
I'm trying to watch the Irish womens WC team and its awful. All you can here is the high pitch screaming of the kids in the crowd..
With rainbow coloured numbers on their backs. I keep seeing who is wearing a g=string, much more entertaining.
Morning all. Been a long day so no chance to comment so far but personally I've no problem with Patrick Viera. Cellino was right about coaches in that you just never know until they get cracking and then you've either found a dud or a jem. If it does turn out to be Viera then let's hope he's learnt from any previous mistakes and hits the ground running. The very least he deserves is our full support. Cardiff & Shrewsbury (EFL Cup) at home to start with so not too bad.
I'm quite indifferent about Viera, wouldn't have been top of my list but at this stage i'm just relieved it's not Gerrard. If nothing else, we'll probably get to see the old fashioned 4-3-3 possession based football rather than the 4-2-3-1 that everyone's to be playing these days.
