    Maybe Rutter can suck the ball into the net as he cannot score any other way.

    Thanks for posting that Blono, forgotten how bad the pitches were, back in my early days as a supporter. Always liked Jimmy Greenhoff, and was disappointed we let him go, not sure whether I remember this correctly, but thought he might have had some injury troubles before we let him go, and he had a long career after us. Though in truth he was never gonna be a regular starter once we got Clarke.

    Yeh I don’t dispute he was higher up the pitch fella.. it was a different role because it was a different system/playing style… High press instead of low block.

    whole concept of marsch ball was press and counter- press to win the ball higher up the pitch.

    So maybe just semantics in whether we’re talking about treatment of gnonto in particular v the system he was playing in.<cheers>
