No agenda, just another unnecessary statement that was made by Jessanory that makes him look sillier by the day. WebMD Recovering from Overtraining The only way that you can recover from overtraining is by resting. This means that you need to stop training for a determined period of time. The time will vary depending on the sport and the level of activity, but most recovery takes between 4 to 12 weeks.
Dramah can't play this season for us. You can only recall players during a transfer window like Arsenal did with Eddie.
yes that recovery is correct. And he can’t do that in the middle of a season can he? So he has to just get on with it. So it only makes him look sillier to people who don’t understand what overtraining is and what you can and can’t do about it. I have no idea if they were overtrained by the way. All we have is anecdotal evidence from past and current players about feeling fcked… and our Director of performance acknowledging that they push the boundaries as they felt the edge in performance was worth the risk of a few extra injuries. Whether they discussed those potential side effects with the players is a separate player welfare matter. My point is IF they were overtrained, the fact that we are still getting injuries is evidence for it, not against it.
Our itinerary is 5am collection for me. Fast ferry at 7.30. Two hour sailing and hit Leeds hopefully around 3 on Saturday
Yeh but no. Forshaw & Dallas have broken those bone thingy things from getting stuck in as requested by Jesse because he demanded we were more aggressive. Red cards as well anyone ?
we had a lot of impact injuries also under bielsa because according to rob price… our physical hard pressing/man marking style of play increased the likelihood. So yeh, Jesse quoting famous generals battle speeches in the dressing room may not have helped improve that Thought Leeds fans liked to see their boys get stuck in?
I'll reiterate what I said earlier. If Jesse can get us a positive result then he deserves to stay. However if we suffer two defeats then he'll have failed and should fall on his sword, football is a results based business and Mr Motivator needs to deliver. Truthfully I hope he succeeds even if we go down.
I always thought we would stay up with Bielsa at the helm because we had an horrendous injury list and once players started returning, we would have been fine. As soon as they sacked him my first comments were that we were going down. Why that hit me immediately I cannot say but I still didn't think we'd be in the situation we are now in ie bottom three for the last few games. I feel we are now in a downward spiral but would love the team to prove me wrong however much it doesn't feel like it would happen at all. I've just spent the afternoon with our Leeds United legends who are left from the 1972 FA Cup Winners team and they would still give this team a game, I'm sure of it despite their ages etc.
I hope he succeeds if we stay up or go down, I just can't see it and failure would be huge, imagine him spending a huge chunk of the income we receive for those wanting out and he fails, we could wait 10 weeks/games to find out and have blown all the money. We can't afford another season like this and we can't afford to blow whatever we receive for the want aways
We will not be strengthening as far as I can see as the small squad and under 23s are the way forward as it was with Bielsa. All those thinking Marsch is going to bring his own players in, I thought the whole point of having Orta there was so the players were there for any manager? The thing that upsets me most is we have thrown away something special that we were building over the last few years because from what I've seen on the pitch now, we are in a downward spiral. I really hope I'm wrong with those feelings.
