Good morning Matt & everyone Hit on the head causing blood to run down my face by sharpened down coins at Hillsborough when we played Man U in a FA Cup Semi-Final as a teenager Bruised ribs when some idiot stood in the kop gangway jumped into the back of me & sent me flying across the seats in front of me as he celebrated a Rudi Austin goal in the 35th-minute v Birmingham. Fortunately, a good friend of mine (season-ticket holder) Dr Sean who stood behind me is a doctor & tended me re-assuring I was as comfortable as I could be whilst as I laid stricken in much pain between the seats. I was taken to the medical room where I checked out & administered good care. I was allowed back to my seat in the 2nd half & watched our 4-0 victory in sheer agony! As for swearing it happens at football grounds especially in the heat of the moment, I'm always aware of young children around me, sadly others aren't
Morning Doc, like it or not but kids look up to footballers and will copy what they do. The amount of times I read about instances where youngsters or parent has abused an amateur referee is scary!
Morning Leon, do you think the club is well equiped to deal with instances like these? What about their medical care?
Carl@DellaLeeds Replying to @EllandBack1 Once saw a bloke in kop reading his programme pre game, take a full on Viduka Thunderbastard straight in the hooter. Claret everywhere. He was carted off by Stewards down NW corner.
I Hate Leeds@ihatelufc Replying to @EllandBack1 Not home, but Fulham away 2016? Saw a thin ginger lad take an absolute corker on the temple while chatting to his mrs. Shrugged it off to appear tough, but we knew it must have hurt.
never got hurt myself but me and my son went to st andrews (birmingham) for the 1987 play off final against charlton and one leeds fan decided he would have a slash, bad luck for him he slashed on the leg of a rather large leeds fan who promptly told him he was a dirty B and then gave him the most delicious left hook and dropped him like a sack of spuds into his own wee wee.
