When will that idiot Bielsa ever learn? Keeps faith with players that aren't good enough .....

.... and yet gets fantastic results. If only he knew what he was doing. <doh>

When will fans ever learn. Lose 12 games in second half of a season and he’s a hero. Btw I’m only joking Jock

Kev, I kid you not. If you'd been as lucky to watch as many Bielsaball games as I've managed to (even the u23s!), you might have a different viewpoint.

You'll have partly experienced it when you came over for the games, but I tell you, week after week of watching brilliant Bielsaball makes you get carried away. I've truly fallen in love with football again. That's why promotion or even victory doesn't matter to me these days. It's like falling in love with a lass. You don't care if she's got buck teeth or a fat arse or whatever - you're in love, that's what's important - and no-one can convince you otherwise!

I don't get the same feeling watching televised games, for as I've always said, that's you getting a cameraman's narrow viewpoint, & a producer's opinion on which camera angle is the most 'exciting'. It's not their fault that they can't allow you to see the off-ball runs, digs etc. that add to the experience.

So that's it in a nutshell. I'm privileged to have this marvellous experience & I'm a born-again (read boring) football fanatic. And it's great. And going by the sellouts at ER & large numbers at u23 games, I'm not the only one. Being in love again is the best, and all of the issues, whatever they are (e.g. defeats), are irrelevant.

Btw, this is not a criticism of those that don't get to games often. I know only too well what it's like. Only got to see my beloved Partick Thistle 3 times last season. But that's a 'family' obligation that I'll have for life. No love there. Just fcukin' misery season after season. :( Gives you a crackin' perspective on what's happening here though. Got to grab it whilst it's available. :D

Well said Jock thats exactly it. Yes I would be proud as hell getting promotion but then we would all be moaning next Summer about only spending £50m on players when everyone knows you need to spend £150m just to stay up.....

The way we play and in fact the way the club plays is brilliant and makes you proud every game. The cups the club won last season at all levels shows Bielsaball works.

Back to the first point. Villa have spent £125m and not finished yet. Fulham spent £160m last season and came straight back down. You also need a coach and a plan like Dyche who accepted relegation would help them long term because of parachute payments and now they have done 2 seasons of stability, Bournemouth...... even Wolves spent a fortune but managed to be comfortable which again shows a coach with a plan.
