Although Douglas never lived up to expectation, I wonder if Douglas and Alioski in front provided better options than Alioski and Harrison. I guess we would need to see what area of the pitch those extra goals came from. I would imagine we also scored far less
I still think you're confusing the contract with the registration. The contract signed may well have been binding in law, but unsatisfactory in content for the governing bodies to permit the transfer of registration. Just because the governing bodies didn't like it doesn't stop it being a valid contract in the eyes of the law. Now, as I alluded to in an earlier post, if there are clauses inserted that have to be fulfilled in order for the contract to be activated, then that is a completely different matter, and may well be the case. Well, you would hope that your lawyers would earn their fat fees, wouldn't you. Clearly someone didn't, hence this rather awkward situation. I think many people are jumping to conclusions without being in possession of the facts. The full facts. (A little bit of knowledge is dangerous .... ).
Could be many things. Could be that BPF's sharper & more accurate distribution got the opposition on the back foot. Don't ever remember being impressed by Casilla's distribution. As I said, could be many things.
Not confusing it WJ - the matter is far from clear, but there a number of issues that some detractors choose to ignore. Yes agreed - player/club contracts and registration to play in a competition are definitely two seperate issues, but football seems to be quite an unique business in this regard. It would appear (from everything I understand anyway) that the activation of player contracts are entirely dependent upon satisfying the regulatory authorities in the sport. No matter what has been agreed before hand between both clubs and a player, until you get the green light from those governing bodies, that contract carries no substance and is null and void. That is the current position as I understand it, and if so, Emiliano Sala was still a Nantes' player at the time of his tragic death. Nantes' blanket registered player insurance cover (If they have one) should be triggered. Cardiff have single incident cover of £16M on any of their registered players - Sala was not registered.
Lol appeared on a LUFC Facebook page today, poster was claiming it was taken today. If Bielsa was about to leave us and go back to Argentina would he be looking at buying a car
Just being a pessimist, they do sell the same cars, ok rh drive, in Argentina so he could just be looking to see what he will buy when he gets back, I've done the same myself when I've had time to kill.
