I can't wait to see what he comes up with. I worry about Roberts, as he's been pretty duff to date. To be honest, he's been getting the 'Roofe treatment' by being played wide, when he's a CF. Part of his downfall was lack of discipline to play out wide - kept creeping in & not supporting his WB. Could be a new beginning for him! I worry more about Edmondson being played. He would do well, I think, but being inexperienced, I think he might get himself a red. He can most certainly put himself about without getting riled, but if they target him ..... well, I hope it doesn't come to that.

Not sure we have to kick them. If we play our game, they'll be running about daft trying to get the ball. If we keep possession in the way that we can, they'll be dead on their feet for the last 10-15 mins.

Can't see there being much, if any change of formation. We beat Stoke 3-1 and Norwich 3-0 without any goals from Roofe or Bamford, which is not to belittle eithers contribution, Roofe's movement has been immense but that's why the U23 are playing the same way as the first team so that when injuries happen who ever he picks, Roberts for example, comes in and plays the same system. With the way we're playing it's not like losing a big tall target man who's job is to be a brick ****house and hold up play until others join. IBWT.......

Jerry Mbakogu, Lacina Traore, Darren Bent and Robbie Keane are all free agents.

If you had to pick one to join us on a pay as you play contract, who would it be?

Bielsa will not use them in this game as he don`t think they are ready for this type of game.

First of all you thought you were playing Switzerland in the Nations League <doh>, and now you think england are in the Champions League? <doh>

You at the end of a 5 day bender, or something? <cheers><cheers><cheers>

Or is it a slip of the tongue and you're talking about one of your other teams being in the Champions League? <whistle>

The A leagues are the leagues full of Champion teams, world cup winners,Euro winners etc so I called them what they are,the champions leagues, your in the 3rd divisions leagues, mugs leagues or duffers leagues, take your pick.<whistle> our old Jock internationals must cringe watching a once proud nation play with the other duffers.Do you think you will ever see Scotland play in the top leagues again.

I'm thinking that if we play our usual passing game at pace and pass through the Millwall defence we'll get a penalty or two, particularly if Shackleton/Clarke get a cameo.

The obvious weak link in this otherwise cunning plan often wears black and was allegedly born outside wedlock.

Are you seriously suggesting that winning a 16 team tournament 62 years ago counts for something? Really? <doh><doh><doh>

Would love to hear you explain the relevance of that one. Surely it can't be as ridiculous as your last post on the subject, can it? Oh, wait a minute - this is Chesh!

Had to confirm that there was a human making the posts, hence the test. Given the previous replies, I wasn't sure.

Right, now I've got the popcorn & beer out, waiting on this response. Pretty sure there's a feast of comedic fare afoot.
