#WhitePrivilege ignores the real issues that the rest face. Desecration of any property is just wrong. Churchill helped the US to save most of you from growing up speaking German. A real hero! Cecil John Rhodes not so much. Many others are symbols of oppression to many people in real and visceral ways. To discount these real feelings is dangerous! IMHO for what its worth! I wouldn't bring up these issues here, this is supposed to be about to football/soccer after all but have to challenge those who don't seem to understand. Peace out!
Peace off. That's what the politics thread is for and I've already apologised for clogging the match day thread up. You say that people feel oppressed by these symbols of the past, well that's all they are and I doubt most of those knuckle dragging thugs can even read, never mind know there past history. Also which clever little twat came up with the white privilege label, something that I find offensive.
