Look Jonny we'll never agree on this subject. Without slavery would the blacks have evolved so quickly. I don't condone slavery because it's actually caused more trouble. Lincoln should have repatriated those free slaves back to where they were taken from. You wouldn't be getting the same **** now from those 2nd 3rd generations if he had.
Given the Irish experiences (note the plural, in U.K. and USA), I’m surprised that you don’t recognize and support the plight of others. I don’t agree with the film being pulled but I can understand why. It was pulled from HBO by the way.

It's a dangerous state of affairs when you start banning films because a certain community are that sensitive. Ban the rappers music that have homophobic lyrics, racist and sexist lyrics, songs that condone shooting police etc etc. black live matter my arse. ****ing hypocrites.
When we start lowering our expectations of law enforcement to that of criminals, we are in big trouble. I will just leave it at that. The tone starts at the top. If we condone criminal behavior by law enforcement what kind of environment are we creating?

The police go out and do a dangerous job, there are good and bad in most areas of life. I could be wrong, but those blacks who are rioting and looting are uneducated, out of work and would rather pimp out their women, sell and do drugs that actually do a days work. IMO

I can't help it WC, it's been annoying me for weeks. It's on Sky Sports, Sky News, Good morning etc etc. I'm not actually political myself, although you wouldn't think so. I've no problems with statues being taken down, but why for example is it ok to take confed memorials down and not union or political blacks memorials. Also do it democratically and don't let this anarchists get away with breaking the law.
