Bielsa has said Rodrigo and Koch are in superb condition and fit to play, only Forshaw isnt fit. So we now have Koch who I suspect will start and Rodrigo may too
I read that Leeds have spent the whole of the close season (and the last 2 summers) negotiating his contract. It seems few managerial contracts are as difficult as MBs and it went back and forth over the summer until the last few obstacles were removed last night. That's our Marcelo, leaves no stone unturned.
So what do you think about this? Firstly Bielsa says Koch and Rodrigo are in super shape and fit enough for Liverpool. Secondly today saw a full blown match with first team against the U23s with Rodrigo playing up front for the 23s. So Rodrigo will be in Liverpool but did he put Bamford on the bench?
Any news on Berardi? Last I heard was Razz saying Leeds would look after him, but since then someone has said he's been let go.
Think Leeds are carrying on paying Berardi and covering his medical costs which will not be cheap. However his contract has run out so officially he isnt a Leeds player, but if he gets over the injury Radz will offer him another 1 year contract, which in fairness many clubs wouldn't do By the way because De Paul and his club are messing around and because AC Milan have pulled out of a deal for Florentino....... the lad is back in the running even though he has a £91m release clause. Radz thinks £30m will do it?
Thats my thought exactly mate but what does Bielsa see? Another CB? squad numbers for Koch 5 and Rodrigo 20
When you saw other players for other clubs essentially sitting out the season to avoid injury after lockdown, Berardi carried on (what players should have done I feel). But then you consider his injury came in the "meaningless" game against Derby, I think it's absolutely the right thing to do.
Ibseriously doubt leeds are paying Beradi. He should have nedical and rehab as part of his insurance etc. He is novwhere good enough for a prem contract. You just made all that up.
