I'm kind of glad Alioski has gone. I understand why players let their contract run down. It's a purely financial decision. However, as a fan he has been a little disrespectful flirting with Galatasaray with no comment. He also hasn't let the club know definitively what his plans are, even after his contract ran out. He had some good games last season but also had some dreadful games.

Like I say I can get why players do it but I can't say that I am upset about it too much.

I have nowt bad to say about the lad he gave 100% which is all we ask.
Had his good days but also had bad ones. I think its the right decision because he's not going to be a starter next season and I think that the right call as he just was missing something and was never going to take us forwards.
As on his contract this is his last big payday and he will be wanting a 3 year deal somewhere for security.
Only thing I'm disappointed in is him not telling us earlier but then again Orta could of done all the chasing and given him till his contract run out to make a final decision as everyone was just hoping he stayed staff,Players rather than Gjanni saying I'm thinking about it.
Anyway his time is up Thanks for the moments Gjanni
All the best with the rest of your career.

My Grandma used to give me those and I was born in the 80s. She also used to spit on her handkerchief and wipe my face down....or sometimes use the dishcloth. Its ****ing disgusting when you think about it but probably the reason I don't get ill very often. If I did feel ill I just got told "don't be so soft!" and sent out to play.

He he i was being sarcastic at the flaunting of the wealth. Mere mortals can't afford to travel in such luxury.
Let's hope Junior has an adult attitude unlike myself. <laugh><laugh><laugh>

He should have been a bit more humble and travelled by dinghy like our future doctors, architects, solicitors etc have been doing, he would have got a free pick up service, free bed and board, saved our club a few quid in the process, it all comes in you know, could keep ticket prices down so the working man can afford one :emoticon-0105-wink:

Yes we will be like grandad in willie wonka hoping for a golden ticket. Wonder how much corporate packages will be for the coming season. We could all club together and buy one but just the one.
Has anyone applied for the top whack members package?.

For some reason, I did a Wiki on Alioski. The last line was a big surprise for me!

"Alioski is Muslim.[41] He can speak German, Italian, English, Albanian, Macedonian, Spanish and French".

And yet we all seem to think that it was Paddy that was the master of languages. Puts us all to shame a bit, doesn't it?
