Of those, I’d prefer Burnley and Luton to survive but think all three promoted teams are coming straight back down.
Yep and if that happens it's going to leave a really strong PL for next season with Leicester, Saints and maybe us all going back up.
We had 16 years of hurt. Real hurt with no favourable outlook, & a relegation thrown in to boot. I can understand why people can forget this in the present set-up, but to advocate for same-again in the Championship, instead of promotion to the PL, is utter, utter madness. Unless you like hurt, of course. I don't. Relegation battles in the PL, & even relegation from the PL were hurtful, but not a patch on 16 years of at-best mediocracy, shiite referees, hammerings by going nowhere clubs etc. I've got diagnosed memory problems, but I think the last thing I'll ever forget was that 16 years of pain & hopelessness. And I can't understand the wish to return to this, especially as it seems to be an 'optimistic' wish by some.
Presume that’s me your talking about Jock. Just to clarify I’d like promotion as much as everyone else but ONLY if we can compete there. How anyone would find scum banging four and five past us acceptable is a mystery to me. At times the last two seasons were embarassing If the 49ers prove capable of building a mid table pl side I’m all for it. If it’s a rinse and repeat of last time with the Marx brothers in charge than forget it. I’m happy winning 20 plus games where we are. And for the record I believe the last two seasons were as bad or worse than any of last two decades
