Allan Saint-Maximin from Newcastle hmm wonder where he went oh really Saudi. then you get the sob story from the Newcastle manager he didn't want him to leave and it was done behind his back sort of thing. yeah right. he was told to say that to keep the flies off the shyte. they would of sacked him on the spot for dragging their names in the crap man they are Saudi's they kill to get there way. any Middle/high profile player will go to Saudi from Newcastle be offered £££££££££ mansions with 46 cars. 9 times out of 10 that's what players want anyway no loyalty anymore.
Ipswich next three games I have them down as Lose, Draw, Draw if that happens I see no way back for them as it would become one win in something like 10 games
Does anyone belay we're going to get Ben Godfrey seriously? I get Everton are in the ****ter but there must be more realistic targets
Evening all, just saw on the news that a flight last night from mancester to dublin was redirected to paris. Wasn’t shako doing that route?
They’re was also one that flew Manchester to Dublin to Belfast and back to Manchester and took three hours. So he might have been lucky and been on that. We’re just home. Brilliant weekend as always
Lots of talk this afternoon and evening, including Phil Hay that Gnonto about to sign a new contract? The most fact based story I have been looking at is from Italy by a decent source who says Gnonto will be going to Lazio ON LOAN? So if Hay is correct does this mean yet another screw up by the club like they did with Llorente? He signs a new deal then sent to Rome on loan for a couple of seasons. Why loan Gnonto out when we were told we turned down £25m in the summer. Something stinks? Could Summerville be going and we chase another winger on loan?
Back on the Suadi links, check this out and he was the guy who enticed Carlos Corberan to WBA and also did a big job for Abramovitch at Chelsea and low and behold the yank owner of Chelsea these days has massive business interests with Saudi Arabia. This football game is incestious. It’s like the CEO of Man City walks across the city and is now CeO of Utd. The new Utd guy has managed to grow City football interests into the City Football Group and owns football clubs on every continent https://x.com/JacobsBen/status/1749478439659221363?s=20
On recent form Leicester are now catchable, certainly by Southampton and maybe even by Ipswich. The plot thickens.
Anyone else think our next game could be tricky? Norwich look mid table but in January they have: Drawn with 3rd placed Southampton, Beaten 5th place WBA and 7th place Hull, and Bristol rovers in cup.
We’ve slipped up a couple of times when we have really had the chance to turn the screw on those above us. Like you say, unbeaten in January and picked up points against strong teams
I went to the West Brom v Norwich game on Boxing day and they were woeful, how Albion only beat them 1-0 god only knows. No idea how they got those results since, unless the WB game was a one off.
