No far from it, I am not arguing that other teams are a long way ahead of us in squad value. I was merely pointing out that I don't know what to make of those figures as they are all over the place. I'm more bewildered that Bielsa has said he only wants players joining who will improve the squad yet it doesn't feel like we have moved forward this season and I wondered why. Have we no more money left in the pot, if not that feels a bit strange. Can Orta really not find better than the likes of Costa, Roberts and Klich or at least another midfield player pushing for a spot? Has he found a spreadsheet full but Bielsa has said no? Here is the thing, Bielsa inherited a squad of players who most of us deemed useless. He turned them around to make them what they are today, he did perform a mini miracle. Surely it is too much to believe we were just very lucky and that virtually the entire squad were ideal Bielsa type players? The bottom line is I'm disappointed that we are not looking like building on last years squad unless the faith is going to be put into the U23s We were linked with so many wonderful midfield players and we didn't get one of them, was the money never there or did we over estimate their value?
