Be calm my friends, it says in Zen and the Art of Motorcycle Maintenance that Leeds will win the Championship in 2020. Pablo is our guru and can influence our results on or off the pitch through Trancendental Meditation All will be well, snowflake & out.
Exactly. Not wumming just understanding the importance of Hernandez to the team. He single handedly dragged us out of our crap form and drove us onto the latest 5 game winning run with loads of assists and goals. The idea that Roberts can come in and do that instead of Pablo baffles me. It's not going to happen.
Don't know what to do for the restart. Was watching all the streams when the games weren't on Sky whilst we were on that losing streak. So couldn't bare watching but followed the match day threads on here and recorded the highlights. Went on the five game unbeaten run, no goals conceded but obviously peeved to be missing the wins. So to watch or not to watch
Totally agree with you. I know stats can't prove everything but they suggest we are better when he plays. He does seem to be able to spot a pass others can't.
Don't think anyone is suggesting Tyler instead of Pablo...it just would not happen and nor should it. But if Tyler gets his chance because of virus/injury then he is the future and so needs to step up and get us promoted.
The man's a genius, but is he still reliable week in week out, when we need the points? That's the issue. Will he be the driving force we need if we get to the Prem, or better from the bench? Age catches up on us all I love the man and what he's been to Leeds the last few years, but I'm worried he'll become less consistent going forward.
Just nine more games please (probably five more wins to be accurate). Just keep him together with sticky-back plastic to bag those and I’ll be happy
Big turning point for me today. Don't know what's caused it, but I feel like a kid on Xmas Eve. I'm so, so excited about the footie coming back. Can't concentrate on anything else. Going to be a long week.....
I can't wait either, can put up with no pubs and lockdown ****, as long as we get the football back, mind if we lose Sunday, it's going to be a deep deep depression.
My major concern regarding the game on Sunday is the 12 midday KO. We'll probably travel down on the Saturday but staying in a hotel won't be the same relaxed pre match experience we're used to. Almost certainly it's going to be detrimental to our preparations and we have Sky to thank for that. It's something all teams will have to cope with but a home fixture or at least one closer to home would have been preferable. At least after this weekend two of our remaining three away games (Blackburn & Derby) are only a relatively short coach journey away. However we can expect the away fixture at Swansea to be changed to a 12 midday KO...just because Sky can and they will.
Agree about the noon kickoffs - just hope i don't sleep in! As for the team, did I not read on here somewhere that we were looking at flying, as well as the hotel option?
We would have to fly fairly early though and that would mean something like a 6am or 7am start for the players...not good in my opinion.
All teams will have similar complaints, let's just get on with it and do the best we can. Uncharted waters for everyone, Bielsa will have the team prepared, his Excel sheets must be have been on fire during lockdown! MOT ALAW
