In other news... It's been confirmed remaining matches will not be available via the Sky red button. Also as I understand it, matches selected by Sky for live broadcast will only be available to ST holders (and overseas viewers) to watch on LUTV. So if you're not a Sky subscriber or ST holder you will need to find another way to view the matches live. Non Sky matches will be available to all on LUTV at £10 per match. As it stands we've been selected by Sky 3 times form the first 6 fixtures with the remaining matches still to be decided upon.
Did wonder about sky with LUTV, after all sky have paid to show the games, and wouldn't want to let others sell the games. In theory season ticket holders are at the games so sky lose nothing to them.
It's part of the reason the club were keen for ST holders to agree a bundle which included the remaining 9 games live on LUTV. They knew 4/5 matched would/will be selected by Sky and that most season ticket holders would likely watch on Sky and not LUTV if they had to pay. That's of course assuming most ST holders are Sky subscibers which they may or may not be.
I was a sport subscriber, but don't care about the rest, if I can watch Leeds without sky I won't re subscribe
Fair enough...there are some great deals available though if you change your mind. Personally I'll be watching WBA, Fulham, Brentford & Forest. It's all part of the agony/ecstasy trying to work out which permutations are best as every ball is kicked.
I get Sky sports through Virgin and I won't be charged for the service til the sports are fully up and running. So happy days.
Just a thought on the notion that Leeds are usually quick starters to seasons. That's based on some clubs preparations showing consideration of the fact that a season lasts 46 games and therefore they make allowances. Their players are obviously still fit but they've tailored the training accordingly to allow for possible burn out towards the end of the long hard grind that a usual Championship season entails. Now that all goes out the window as everyone knows it's 9 matches only with everything to play for.
like any Leeds fan I really appreciate Pablo’s fantastic contribution over the last few years. But his form even when fit gets more variable each year and I don’t think we’re as reliant on him as we have been. Be a blow if he’s missing obviously but not slit your wrists time.
I have personally observed Pablo foating on a white fluffy cloud over thorpe arch. Above his head is a pure white halo and he rests waiting for the call from marcelo.
I think they said we have something like a 65% win rate when he plays, which drops to 35% when he doesn't.
Oh my god, now you mention the others and their games, it’s bringing back all the memories and stresses of the season before lockdown.
