Maybe not. Would have thought their priorty would be to get the high wage earners of the books and I doubt Ben White is one of those. You then assemble a squad which is hopefully capable of contending for promotion and Ben definitely falls into that category. Obviously though big money talks and that's where Liverpool etc come in and blow us out of the water if they so choose. Best we can hope for in my opinion is Brighton stay up and we somehow manage to sign him due to the Bielsa factor and him still being unproven at PL level. We would have to really break the bank for him though.
No option to buy on White, so our only chance would be him wanting to play for Bielsa. The caveat being we can afford him.
Not so sure about that, 2 years left on his contract, they are in pole position to demand a big fee or if that doesn't materialise, keep him.
Parachute payments low earner, they have other players they could cash in on first, like the CH they had from Bristol City. Doubt they'll be in a rush either way unless it's for big money.
I think the point of the season being suspended is that if the games do get played the transfer window is also delayed until the games are completed so though Ben White could go back to Brighton, they won't be able to sell him in June.
