    Good afternoon Matt & everyone
We are playing well so the goals will flow at some stage, I feel one of the championship teams are in for a battering in the next few weeks.
My main concern is our defending at corners, apart from the odd set-pieces we are defending very well
As for Roofy he did what all good strikers do & gambled throwing his body at the ball, he actually went in with one of his legs outstretched, whether he made contact & then the ball bounced onto his arm I'm uncertain even after watching re-runs of incident.
Thankfully the officials gave us the benefit of doubt as I reckon the ER crowd would have gone bonkers with the referee who had already agitated our fans with some of his leniency towards the time-wasting/fouling tactics of the Forest players

Remember what happened last season when we lost Ayling at Christmas time.

I'm not suggesting & can't see it will occur again because we have Bielsa at the helm this time

However, wing-backs are an important part of our game so Ayling's absence could affect the flow of our game down the right flank

Exactly, that ****stain Dermot Gallagher still said it was a Brentford penalty having watching it numerous times, the ref was a **** throughout the game but you could understand why he gave it without the help of a replay, he was conned by the Brentford player, cheating bastard

Looks like the U23s staying top of the league now 2-0 up almost over with goals from Edmondson and Harrison. 5 goals from last 3 starts for young Ryan and his goal today was from a Jack Clarke cross

Ayling out for 2 months with a remidial ligament injury, so yet another long term injury. It has to be said that these injuries have nothing to do with the training at TA as Bamford, Berardi, Douglas, O’Kane and Ideguchi all injured during matches. Hopefully we will see Brown, Bamford and Ayling as new players in January

Two months of Dallas at right back. Hope Bielsa is right and there is a good player in there.

Ayling had a long term injury last season before Bielsa’s arrival. Just think our injuries are down to bad luck. Deciding to run on a small squad in various positions on the other hand...

Deffo just bad luck as almost all have happened in a match. We now have 5 serious knee recoveries taking place at TA if you factor in Izzy Brown, O’Kane and Ideguchi who are still Leeds players

The fact they happen under match conditions, when stretching/straining in a way you tend not to in training, doesn’t mean that the body isn’t Weakened.. ie had insufficient recovery... from over-training. Hey i’m not saying that is the reason, but the fact the injuries happen in games not training doesn’t automatically mean the training couldn’t be the issue.

Milky you could be right but O’Kane not trained with Bielsa and does it on loan at Luton, Iseguchi had 1 week of training with Bielsa then went on loan to Berlin and was playing brilliantly for 3 weeks?

Evening all, sorry for the late appearance, been doing my bit to keep 20/20 and Penths’ pension funds ticking along.

On Roofe’s goal, it was only when he admitted to handball that I was convinced it hadn’t come off his knee and I watched four slow motion replays so tough call for the officials. Thankfully, they got this one right <whistle> When he admitted it went in off his arm I just laughed and thought good, definitely appeases the Brentford blues I have been suffering from and all the time wasters we face week in week out.

Flicked around quite a few sites and find the search for morality hilarious, especially from trees with a point to make. Not one person has said Colback should have gone to the ref and told him to send him off for his assault on Forshaw in the first half, what’s the difference? Feck em all :emoticon-0148-yes:

Let's face it. There are only two forms of 'cheating' in football. One where your team benefit, which you don't care about and one where the opponents do so you occupy the moral high ground and moan like ****. We were unlucky against Brentford to come up against the worst refereeing performance I've ever seen and this time we got lucky. Move on <ok>

Agree with the above, this is why football is the most popular sport on the planet.
Its not a stop start game like, tennis, cricket american football etc.
Even VAR can **** off, never seems to work, football should be the same for everyone, grassroots up to world cup, ref, linos end of.
