Thats a great point because Traore was a flop last season and Orta took a bit of stick, but this season has made it into the team of the season, his stats are way ahead of anyone else's on dribbles, control, passing people, assists and shots on goal. Lets hope that whoever we end up keeping repays the faith Orta put into them

And this is another one of those players who has done well in the Dutch league but failed miserably when moving to a higher quality league. He's been at Werder Bremen for 3 seasons now and played 27 times, scoring a total of 4 goals. Of those 27 games, he has started in only 9 of them. In his first season he started 5 games plus one appearance from the bench and scored 2 goals, in the last two seasons, hes only started in 4 games, with 17 appearances from the subs bench, and has managed to score 1 goal per season.

Not sure where you got free scoring striker from Doc, given that its been 4 seasons since he hit double figures and in fact he's only hit double figures 3 times in his career, first when playing in the Norwegian 2nd Division, scoring 12 goals in 18 games, then in the Danish 1st division scoring 14 goals in 18 games and finally in the Dutch 1st division playing for AZ where he managed 17 goals in 31 starts the season prior to moving to WB.

When you compare overall stats, he appears to have a slightly better goal scoring record than Lasogga, but Johanson is one year older has spent the majority of his career playing in my opinion lower level football, at the age of 24 he moved to a higher level league and failed miserably, and being totally honest I'd rather have Lasogga back than sign this guy

I was at the boxing and it was some occasion. I won't comment regarding new signings because a lot of it is just bollocks. Going to recharge my batteries and wait till the fixtures come out in June..<ok>

Good afternoon all after a miserable day at work after a week in the sun in Spain. I can see you're all going stir crazy with a complete lack of activity in the transfer market, though shouldn't most of this be on the summer rumour thread??. Get used to it, don't think anything will happen pre world cup.

Bit of a turn up at Stoke as I expected maybe Big Sam or Moyes or Big Mick would be approached but looks like Rowett is leaving Derby and taking it. Who will get Derby......

Great comment today from one of the Birmingham players released this week, he said Birmingham were on the up and flying and he and the players loved it under Rowett as he turned it around then Monk came ....
