Why? Cooper & Berardi are doing just fine. Pontus & Nessi are able backups. Ayling can cover as CB (and has). Going by pre season, De Bock appears to be a better CB than LB, but we'd need to be desperate for that option, methinks. Then there are the u23s. Not sure if Paudie has a recall option. Struijk would be my pick if not, but there are a few others that are knocking on the door. If Bielsa feels we need another, I'm sure he'll be careful to find someone who will improve the squad, given the above, rather than find a backup.

2 things: 1. Jansson gets injured all the time. Most matches, in fact! It's mostly off the ball stuff & doesn't get reported on, so not surprised you don't get to see it or hear about it. I thought it was a joke when first pointed out to me, but sure enough .... 2. Bielsa is all about square pegs & round holes! And I'm not being flippant, either.

I am so happy that someone have dug up something to whine about. I was a bit worried that they could not find anything. They would probably have slit their wrist if they had not found anything at all. There is just one problem with it and that it is a crap journalistic job.
