Personally I think it's a ****ing outrage we've been fined at all. The club should fight it. Just read the statement. Leeds are in favour of a ban in spying '72 hours before a match' (not ever, which suggests all clubs do it). This in its self is a new rules so how do we get fined for a rule that doesn't exist. ****ing EFL charlatans.

Yes but West Brom, Bristol and SU to come. The results here define whether we finish in autos or playoffs.

To be honest I’m relieved there was no point deduction. Could have ruined the season. 200k in the grand scheme of a promotion push is small change

Just seen your fine. Norwich fan here and that sucks there should have been no punishment at all. I'm glad they did not take any points away.

    Totally agree.

No points deduction...no touchline ban for Bielsa.

Now what about the FA enquiry because until that's settled as well it's not over.

Agree Chesh just enough but not too much. Getting Lawyers in would cost that and more so judged just about right to avoid any follow on action.

While they try and say it was unsporting,it's not against any F A rules and no one is trying to say it is,so no problem I recon.

£200k fine seems very harsh given that Leeds admitted it quickly, volunteered additional details, fully co-operated with the investigation and have not attempted an appeal. And that’s not even factoring in that the accepted breach was of “good faith”, which is a really difficult one to define.

The whole point of confessing/co-operating is the authorities are supposed to be more lenient. Otherwise you hardly encourage other clubs to be honest.

Still at least it draws a line under it, doesn’t mean a points deduction and everyone can forget <ok>

    Calm down dear...

It's the EFL that have fined us because we play in their competition and it's the EFL that we need to leave behind.

Once we get to the PL you'll find we get treated much better... they'll be far more appreciative of our history, worldwide reputation, huge following and the added kudos we'll bring compared to some of the dross they currently have to share their filthy lucre with.

Personally I prefer to liken it to having 2 months of a 15 year stretch still to serve and they're just trying to f**k up our release.

We've done our time, so let's keep a cool head and get back to sitting at the big boys table where we belong.
