This is the full video of disgruntled Sheff U fans after we beat Sheff Wed. It contains the clip Ell put up.
Here's one for the books. Southampton are rumoured to want Phillips, and are looking at a 20m bid..........Hasn't April 1st been and gone. Phillips worth 20 million quid, gis a break. Maybe they want to pay the value of every sideways or back to the player pass. I say let him go, he may be tempted by the money. As I've said before, a replacement can show just how under par Phillips really is. If he keeps passing sideways or backwards all time the SFC fans will quickly jump on it. https://footballleagueworld.co.uk/r...clubs-big-bucks-but-must-react-right-opinion/
Phillips and Roof stalling on contract talks. https://the4thofficial.net/2018/12/...s-a-worrying-sign-for-bielsas-promotion-hope/
We obviously disagree Bucks. Phillips will be found out in Prem League. Forshaw will be a more beneficial player in Prem, mark my words.... He can't keep passing sideways and backwards for most of game and expect to keep getting away with it, especially in Prem. The bigger players will run rings round him. He did play better v Sheff Wednesday, but nothing to write home about. Leeds are looking at bringing in other midfielders too, nothing sorted yet, but the news / rumour stories are there. I still reckon Phillips has a certain number of "games to be played" in his contract.
The article is tosh. The club pulled existing player contract talks back in October... when it became apparent radz was skint. Roofe, klich, bpf all first choice at the time were overdue talks. None happened. A few articles re Roofe situation doing the rounds at the time.
It's dated April 15 2019. You may be right, it could be a recycled article, but I took it off Leeds United news now website.
The article is current LL, just the content is tosh. The players weren’t angling for a move or stalling... the club stalled. The players might be considering options now, I guess, but the reason is the club cooled on offering new deals due to lack of money.
Ive pointed this out before, but be careful what you believe when reading online articles. Anyone, myself included, could set myself up as a reporter/blogger. As long as there are people willing to retweet or quote the articles, said articles gather a semblance of credibility. No problem putting stuff up on forums but dont quote them as if theyre gospel, theyre not. Now when a proper sports writer has something to say, I tend to listen. As it is its going to be a long summer of rumours ahead. By the way, scum are being battered by Barca
