Dutch Baby's are delicious served with maple syrup or honey Unlike many Yorkshire folk I don't enjoy my food swimming in gravy, just a sprinkle is enough for me My dear granny use to always serve up Yorkshire Pudding in gravy separately as the first course before we tucked into the roast beef with freshly grown potatoes & vegatables out of their garden please log in to view this image
I think Glory posted the other forum is much quieter (forgive me if I'm wrong) I don't believe that is the case, it was dead as a dodo on here yesterday
I watched a couple of schoolboy matches during the winter, they were much more entertaining than watching Leeds
You lot have driven our regulars away....... The simplest explanation is usually the right one! BTW I don't think it was me that said that... Only I popped in the door when you had the issues that brought you all here.
Assume Leeds are very hard at work behind the scenes ready for the transfer window. Should have been planning since December.
Afternoon matt and everyone. why have we given the likes of O'Kane and other dross 4 year contracts but failed to get young talent like Pearce signed up, it should be done and dusted by now. Rey at 20 should be getting near the first team now, some more of this young talent should have been given a shot in the last 3 games, what was the point of playing Lassie and co. The finances are just a mine field, I try not to take much notice as it's mainly cloak and dagger stuff. Mbakogu, we need better imo, we need players that know the league, not take an age to climatise. Anything that tastes like a yorkie pud will do me, looks more like a cross between a YP and a danish pastry, which is fine. Yum
Really strangely I remember buying one or two from a stall at Exeter coach station about 40 years ago. Yes I know that's in Devon. They must have been good because I still remember them.
Afternoon all... Rads should be looking for better than PH but it seems he is going to be keeping faith with him.. I said in another post back him fully or this season will be rinse and repeat and I’m reading reports today that Heckingbottom wants to bring the Barnsley defender Andy Yiadom in on a free transfer but Orta is against the move. If this is true then it’s exactly why Orta must go, you can’t back your coach for another season yet ignore a transfer target who will cost you nothing but his wage. We all thought Monk was being stupid going for Ayling when we had Berardi, I’ve no idea where PH sees Yiadom slotting in but what’s the point ignoring someone he wants and forcing the next Klich, Cibiki or Japanese import on him.
Orta is right on this one (but probably for the wrong reasons). Even on a free Yiadom would be a waste of money. The fact Hockabottom rates him says everything about them both. Barnsley were relegated for good reasons. IMO its ok to take a chance on players leaving relegated prem clubs but not ok to do the same from clubs that proved to be not good enough at our level. Seems obvious to me.
Not me sir not606 seems to be okay on working days, are they all skiving goes all sleepy at the weekend
Everyone just having some down time before we can start to appreciate the great players Rad brings in. After that we can start to enjoy Englands all conquering run to world cup glory,,...
Oh I'm right looking forward to that, thanks Glory for reminding me I know you must be kidding me here Royal Ascot to look forward to & holidays of course I see YCC have been doing a good impression of Leeds United down at the Oval
