He used to be a promising DM, but as far as I can see, he's being played further forward, & just isn't cutting it now.
Putting him in the shop window then hoping to get rid. I admit to knowing nothing about our reserves.
Radz strikes back at Kinnear ..... https://motleedsnews.com/boardroom/...s-kinnear-over-leeds-united-contract-clauses/
An md who never checked the contracts. Radrizzani is an utter clown and embarrassed himself every time he gets sizzled and goes on Twitter. He’s has since removed his post but I’d already screenshot his rubbish. And as I’ve said earlier Kinnear should be no where near the. Luv either
Okay. Absolutely love Aski’s posts, brilliant facts but why is Kinnear comparing our match day revenue with Tottenham? Perhaps he should be explaining why we couldn’t compete with the likes of Bournemouth (tiny ground) and all the others with no bigger capacity than ours?
Have to agree / disagree with this. You don’t employ someone for that job if you have to check everything they do. You put people in place and trust them to do it. Agree that Kinnear should be gone
It's a very good point, although he was using Spurs as an example of the next financial step, as comparing us with the club that is/was probably the closest set up to our own, wouldn't have gone down as well with the fans, when he admitted that we were trying to emulate Everton
Angus Kinnear was employed by Leeds because of his commercial expertise in growing football revenues. He was also employed because of his experience of growing revenues through periods of upheaval and change. He did it at Arsenal whilst the Emirates stadium was being built, he then went to West Ham to oversee revenues whilst the club relocated to the Olympic stadium. The plan at Leeds was always to be a new stadium or a refurb, but he has never been involved in designs and build or project managing a build as that was someone else’s job. At Leeds that has always been Peter Lowey’s responsibility and he is the man behind the Westfield Shopping Malls around the world and has been on the Leeds board for a few years. Just thought I would clear that up as some have mentioned it’s Kinnears job
Well if Radz never knew, the 49ers definitely never. Radz is the fool giving too much trust for too long
Didn't see Radz pointing the finger when good things happened, orchestrated by that same management. He was right in there in the photoshoots, being the big I AM. He's now seriously tarnishing his reputation over here. It's easy to forget the good things he did now that his ego demands that he blames anyone but himself for the bad things. I remember a guy alled Ridsdale that tried the same. Didn't work, did it? And tbh, he did some good things for the club too, but we're reluctant to even think about it.
Not being funny here mate but you'll have to watch the interview with him. On numerous occasions he talked about Brighton and Brentford and their statistical analysis advantage over everyone else. Alongside this he mentioned the likes of Bournemouth, Palace, Forest etc. There was alot said about it. Too much for me to regurgitate here.
Mainly around how it took Brighton 14 years to get there and at least the last 7 seasons to stabalise the club and improve it year on year. Brighton having to put up with 17th, 15th, 16th league positions before the final piece of the jigsaw drops. Leeds were not able to do it in a short space of time so in hindsight Kinnear said we should have followed the Brighton lead. On Brentford and Brighton he said they both have top end analytics people with top tier software developed by their own people who came in from the gambling industry where the club owners made their money
Okay, couldn’t be bothered to be honest. Just wondering why the comparison with Tottenham when there isn’t one, but if he’s also explaining why those clubs succeeded where we failed then fair enough
The Spurs thing was from 12 month ago though, when he was talking about the stadium upgrade, and all he said was that Spurs make £5m million per match day , and we make £1m. It only got talked about on here, because WJ said it was a pity they didn't bring it up this time around, as he had questions about the mathematics, which is then what prompted my lengthy long winded replies to WJ, in which I ended by saying I didn't believe he was comparing us to Spurs, just saying how far behind financially we are from a match day income point of view. This years podcast just highlighted how far we are behind others clubs in respect of the setup of the structure, hence the likes of Brighton etc were mentioned. The issue is that the thread devolved into talk about 2 different podcasts 12 months apart, so without someone watching either or both of them, I can understand why it might cause confusion
I'd disagree there LoL, to have followed the Leicester model would have meant that before being relegated we would have had some level of success within the Premier League, including winning 2 trophies. So we totally ignored the Leicester model and probably resembled the Southampton model more
