. Mate, understand this - JKA is not even bench fit apparently, so forget that. We are quite capable of beating both Florist and the Bees with the current team, Phillips is back on Tuesday and if we come up trumps we are nailed on. And incidentally, if we don't get the 6 points it isn't the end of the season. Keep the faith, I know you don't need to be told to support the team.
The transfer window is wrong, it should be in December, half way through the seasons games. As it is January and with all the dicking around from clubs, players and agents deals arn’t done till the end of the month. Now we are 2/3 rds of the way through the season, take another few weeks to get the player fit and up to speed he will probably get 12 games if your lucky. But I suppose the transfer window in december will never happen, wouldn't want the poor little agents working over the holidays.
Maybe that's the problem, too much practicing hitting the fookin crossbar, now we can't stop hitting it, and can't hit the goal.
They will deliver You know I'm a forgiver Reach out and touch faith Your own personal Bielsa Reach out and touch faith Reach out and touch faith Reach out and touch faith
It seems to me that with Bielsa you need all your players in preseason. He does not consider them ready until they have gone through his fitness programme. Makes the January transfers a complete waste of time, the idea is they are ready to compete / start. If they need a month we are either already up or they’re too late to help. We need immediate impact, which Bielsa won't allow as he likes to imbed them into his way of playing.
Hopefully the mindset of the new players is train outside of the set-up as well to get themselves ready quicker. Think they will have weight targets, so would they be training in their own time. I would be.
Big few days for the optimists v the pragmatists on here So who’s keeping the faith and thinking we win both and take a giant step towards the autos and who thinks the opposite and Groundhog Day of last year.
We need to play the next three games like cup finals, cos you know damn well Florist, Nylons and Bristdull will be.
If we were to win our next two games, it will certainly set us up for a good run in. But I'd rather have still had a cushion going into these games, then we could have afforded to drop points against them. My gut feeling is we might get a point v Florist and lose to Brentford(a ground for some reason we seem to stuggle)
I'll be bringing the luck to Brentford on Tuesday, so 3 points to us Apart from Leyton Orient, I'm pretty sure its the only London ground I've not been to.
