I'm sure someone will swoop in to tell you the window isn't closed and you need to have faith and hope.
Quite the contrary. Wober and Cooper leaving means we've had to promote Cresswell and we now HAVE to buy another centre half and they can't be any worse than the dross we've got rid of. All the strikers missing means that we HAVE to prioritise a new striker. Slowly, slowly we are offloading the **** that gave up last season. We might replace them with **** but at least we'll have a chance that they might not be as **** as the last lot. It takes a bit of time but I feel that we're getting somewhere.
You slagged the **** off last season but are now worried because that same **** is leaving the club. Have some courage and stick to your guns.
Yes I did slag off the **** last season but my concern is this ownership seem to be slow at moving forward when it comes to bringing players in. Go back weeks and you'll see I'm not fan of the 49ers. My biggest concern is that we go in to a 50 game campaign with a thin as **** squad and it looks like.we have no players coming in.
Really? 16 trained and we are bare bones. First league game and only one full back fit. Firpo is **** when fit so no joy there. Honestly i think it's pathetic. Just what is Hammond doing?.
We were told because of the delayed takeover players were put on hold. I am fine with that but lots have left pretty quick and we have signed one starter. I shall let that sink in.... The mega rich 49ers group have bought one player. That is just one more than zero... Zilch... Nowt... Bugger all.
I'll join you if that's our entire business done but when Farke said on day 1 that it might be late in the window by the time our squad is ready then I'm willing (but not entirely happy) to wait until then.
Serious question, btw. I can only name 1 of the troublemakers (Rodrigo) with any accuracy, but who were the others?
Bamford and Summerville still here. Meslier, Ayling, Struijk, Cooper and Firpo aka the worst defence in Europe are still here. Ship em out.
Nah, he even said today that the squad needs improving in all areas but due to the loan agreements in contracts that we have to be careful with FFP so it might be late in the window until we see additions to the squad. 48ers are either very dumb not investing in the squad or very shrewd in waiting it out to get the best deals. I'm hoping it's the 2nd. 400k for Darlow and 8 million for Ampadu kind of indicates to me that they are very shrewd people. Those two signings might be the best deals of any Championship club thus far.
