Morning all, if Bielsa does sign then maybe Everton might be worth watching. I hope we're holding out for a decent fee for Jack like everyone does when we're buying. I think he's had more impact playing in the middle so I don't mind if he stays. I want competition for places.
Bielsa had nothing to do with setting up the training centre. I think it should be dedicated to wilko and hart.
Not fussed who takes the job. Look who many clubs Benitez and others have managed over here. My priority is the leeds supporters first then the players and owners and management last after the full time club staff employees.
Dunno what to make of this one but supposedly Tete (Lyon) is flying in to the country to sign for us however Leicester are in advance talks with said French club. It's very confusing as Fab is saying one thing and the press are saying something else
Regarding Dyche, I’ve always said it depends on where we see the club and the ambitions. Before January, when it seemed like we were broke, if that was our lot then Dyche in my opinion would have been better than Jesse for keeping us up (out of realistic available targets). Since we’ve spent big and assuming we get Weston, it’s clear our aim is far greater than just survival. With the new arrivals and obvious financial backing, I think we could now attract a better coach than Dyche should Jesse slip up
I’m guessing that’s why Bielsa turned it down. He likes to buy into the whole ethos and philosophy of a club and them to buy into his. Any club with him and Dyche on a short list of two clearly has no idea what type of football they want playing.
I’m not so sure. Isn’t this the manager and centre back pairing that got Burnley relegated being reunited?
He probably told Moshri the story of the guy in a pub who looked like the old guy from that Pixar film UP
Dyche is the better option for them if they want to stay up this year in my view, worse option if they want to improve long term. Word is Bielsa wanted to run the 21s and academy this year, to get the processes in place and take over first team in the summer. Makes sense from his 'project' perspective but can see why it wouldn't from Everton's!
Perhaps he did he speal and they turned him down, that was a lot of luggage to bring just for a chat.
Just jesting mate, I suppose no one knows what went on. With Dyche set to be announced over the weekend, I imagine they were talking to both. Perhaps Dyche sold himself better. Who knows
